“Once in a life time snorkelling experiences, at a great hotel with delicious food!”

We loved our stay at Whaleshark Beach, the excursions are world class. Majuudee the snorkelling guide, is calm, kind and very knowledgeable. You can snorkel with whalesharks, manta rays, nurse sharks and sting rays, it is incredible! All staff in the hotel are helpful, the chef is amazing - we loved all the food. It's a quiet time to visit at the moment which made the snorkelling even more special. It was a holiday of a lifetime with ocean experiences we'll never forget.

- Perfect location just 30 meters away from the beach. - Very attentive and kind staff from check in to check out. Any issues that we had (e.g. some minor AC issues) were fixed very quickly and without any further issues - Good dining options (rooftop) and around - Clean rooms and comfy beds - Diverse breakfasts despite being quite basic. Omelette and egg station available if you are not very much into sweet or local flavors.

Where do I begin! The wonderful location steps away from the beach! The comfortable room! The beautiful breakfast ! The amazing dinner! Most of all the amazing staff! Always warm and friendly! Special thanks to Mayddie who assisted us with everything when we decided to stay an extra day. Overall a perfect stay and a memorable vacation. Will definitely be coming back!!

In general, our experience at Whaleshark beach has been fantastic, from room to staff, including the tours we booked with them. The attention and care of the staff was over the top, they work very hard to give a wonderful experience to their guests and they excel at it. They made sure we had everything we needed and always with a smile. The facilities were clean and well taken care of, and the room was spacious and clean, with daily room keeping service. We booked two tours through the hotel and they were quite exclusive. The boat staff was very professional and they took care of us during the trip. Overall, I would go back to Whale Shark in my next visit to Dhigurah.

From the beginning, during the planning phase, I felt well taken care of – especially when it came to organising transfers. The hotel manager runs the place with true dedication and passion. Thank you very much! Upon arrival, I received a warm and friendly welcome. The staff throughout my stay were incredibly helpful and polite. The hotel itself is new, nice designed, and has a cosy, inviting atmosphere. My room was very comfortable and tastefully furnished. A special highlight is the rooftop restaurant, which not only serves delicious food but also offers an incredible view.

We stayed for 10 days and we had absolutely wonderful time. Very friendly team, great food, clean, calm, very customer oriented. Cooperation with a great scuba diving center. Happy to visit again 🙂

🐋 My Review of Whaleshark Beach Hotel, Dhigurah (Maldives) If you're considering a stay in Dhigurah, I recommend Whaleshark Beach Hotel. I couldn’t imagine a better place to stay. 👌🌴 🧳 20+ reasons why I’ll definitely return: 1. Immaculate cleanliness. Both the rooms and shared areas were spotless every day. I personally saw the staff cleaning meticulously – it felt like 5-star hotel standards. 2. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Our room was bright, had a private balcony, great lighting, and most importantly – three full-sized, super comfy beds (10/10!). We also had a smart TV (Netflix, Prime), electric kettle, and fridge – nothing was missing. 3. Exceptional staff. Lola, the hotel manager, was incredibly kind, flexible, and helpful. The whole team was friendly and warm, always going out of their way to assist – be it arranging transfers, providing info about Malé, or anything else. 4. Custom-made breakfasts. Every morning we were served generous breakfasts tailored just for us – fresh, delicious, and so abundant we couldn’t finish it. 5. Delicious food. The cuisine was truly tasty – a mix of local and international dishes. Dinner on the rooftop with butter chicken was simply unforgettable. 6. Free water refill. The hotel provides filtered water stations, so no need to buy plastic bottles – great for both budget and the environment. 7. Top location. Bikini Beach is just 30 meters away – literally a few steps. The island’s village center is also nearby, very convenient. 8. Rooftop dining. Dining under the stars with a view of the Indian Ocean was one of the best experiences of the trip – peaceful and memorable. 9. Well-organized excursions. The hotel offers trips to see whale sharks, mantas, and turtles. We didn’t join due to health reasons, but other guests were thrilled – and showed us amazing videos.

“Lovely place with amazing people.”

The hotel has amazing staff. It is close to the bikini beach. Has a wide variety of excursions and scuba diving available, they help in everything including all transfers and communication, even with the speedboat transfer from the airport. Top floor restaurant has great food and drink options, and an amazing view. They even have umbrellas for rainy days so you do not need to pack them.

Our second time in here. All experience was excellent.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel, everything was perfect, from the room to the food, but most of all thanks to the incredible staff. The team was always attentive and truly made the experience unforgettable. The room was very clean, and the transfer from the airport to the hotel was smooth and hassle-free. I highly recommend this place and hope to come back very soon! It was a real favorite for us.
