From the very first impression when we arrived at the port from our ferry to the birthday surprises and final goodbyes, Sands Grand I can highly recommend! The staff were super friendly and accommodating for every need. Our bedroom was decorated for our friends birthday before we arrived and again on her actual birthday plus balloons and chocolate cake! Our room was cleaned everyday, being provided with fresh shower and beach towels as well as drinking water. The breakfast was great too! The location is okay, a short 10/15 minute walk to the bikini beach with many tourist shops, beach food carts and restaurants dotted about the island. Excursions are easy to book through hostel and are brilliant value for money. A huge shoutout to Ali Shaheen who is the general manager and a friend for life, we can’t thank him enough for his kind heart and warm soul. We will definitely be coming back and recommending to every body! Thank you so so much Sands Grand!! xx

Stayed here in Dec 25 as a family with 1 child. Great stay with very friendly staff and clean rooms. The beds are clean and the staff truly do their best to make sure you enjoy your stay. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner at their restaurant, which is very convenient. We really enjoyed our stay. The only downside is that the mattresses are very hard and not very comfortable.

We spent here 1 week with my family and would return at any time. The staff is really friendly and kind, breakfast and dinner were always tasty and the waiter was always very polite, the excursions are organized very professionally and are highly recommended. The rooms are spacious and clean and even if we had problems with e.g. the AC, it was taken care of right away. Shaheen, the manager went above and beyond to feel ourselves relaxed, he even helped to get my lost luggage back, which he was not forced to do. We had very well organized excursions with both him and Yoosuf. I recommend both the whaleshark and the manta tours, they were very honest about what to expect but we were taken care of the whole time, even when a lot of people were surrounding us. I'm not sure about other hotels, but here we really felt they are happy to have us. I hope Sands Grand will have a bright future, they deserve it!

The staff were exceptionally friendly. They helped us with everything. There is a restaurant on the second floor of the hotel where the food is very good. The manager was extremely friendly! Our bed was very comfortable, and the accommodation is in a good location, about 200 meters from the harbor. God bless every member of the staff, and we wish them all their dreams come true!

i would definitely recommend this hotel as a great place to stay, brilliant communication from shaheen and yoosef before my trip with all information regarding excursions, and what to expect coming to a local island. they made everything easy to book in and supporting us each day with great excursions, i recommend all of the excursions!! we saw manta rays, sting rays, nurse sharks, we did lots of snorkling, (they have flippers and masks there if needed and life jackets so i didnt feel scared on any excursion! they also used their go pro to film some cool videos and shared them for free, very nice) you can tell the captains on the excursions look make a big effort to find the sea creatures and to go out on the sea and that we are safe there! thank you again!! the hotel booked the speed boat transfer and made it easy. they have an option to rent a motorcycle which we did to get around the island quickly, we enjoyed going to the sandbank and watching the sunset. they have a restaurant on site, food was limited due to availability on the island which is normal, every meal was good, and they suggested many places to go around the island, we like the tea pot restaurant, absolute thai and aveli. all staff are lovely, from the kind guy who cleaned our rooms everyday to the guys in the restaurant, and again special thank you to shaheen and yoosef. they also made a special moment on our first day, by decorating the bed and bringing out a birthday cake for my boyfriend on the first day which just started our holiday in a beautiful way. thank you guys!!

Very clean and well equipped room with everything you need. Bed was comfy, all was as seen on the pictures. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They organized a snorkeling trip for us (highly recommended) and toom care of everything we needed. Tip: Book the room including massage.

Our stay at the Sands Grand Hotel was amazing, from the first moment with the complimentary drink until the very last. The staff was exceptional, everyone was super friendly, helpful, and always made sure we had everything we needed. We felt like at home during our stay at the Sands Grand Hotel. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed, and the breakfast was delicious, offering everything you could need: eggs, fruits, local dishes, juice, and always water, which was regularly replenished in the room. Additionally, the room was cleaned every day, with fresh towels provided daily. The excursion we took through the Sands Grand was perfect, the underwater world is incredible here, and the hotel manager personally took care of us, making sure we saw as much as possible. The island itself is a paradise on earth, with long white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. There are plenty of restaurants and shops as well. So, thank you once again to the entire Sands Grand Hotel team, it was an amazing experience. If we return to the Maldives, we will definitely choose this hotel again.

A lovely hotel, very calm vibe with outdoor reception room covered in plants. All the staff seem genuinely happy here and all made the effort to chat to me. They made me feel at home straight away. I think this is a great price for a hotel on such a beautiful island. I extended my stay, and would highly recommend booking! Also recommended arriving by sea plane, incredible view of the island as you land in. (Sit on the left side of you can)
