I will miss everyone, the staff are amazing, the diving SO SAFE and organised with amazing dive guides. Special shout out to David who is incredible and Saeed whose smile made my day every day. It’s so well run, the rooms are amazing and the food is JUST DELICIOUS. Don’t hesitate!

First visit to the Maldives and Boutique Beach was our 2nd atoll we visited. We wanted to stay on a resort island and a local island and also for my husband to scuba dive whilst there. Boutique Beach was friendly and excellent at communicating from the moment we booked until the final wave bye. It was the only accommodation out of the 3 that reassured us about transfers and gave us clear info.We were given a choice of transfers to and from the island and we chose domestic plane/boat ride. We found the domestic plane a bit long winded and hot so when we arrived they kindly changed the return to speedboat.On arrival we were met by a lovely team and felt like family until the moment we left. My husband is a scuba diver and this hotel is outstanding for diving. The days/food are literally planned around the dives and he spent 2 whole days out on the boat with the team and other guests and loved every minute. The staff were professional and fun he saw manta rays, turtles, whale sharks, dolphins, octopus etc.Although not a diver /snorkeler myself the staff were supportive and offered me the opportunity to join them on the boat or teach me to snorkel. I decided to just enjoy the time on the island. The staff at the hotel still included me with everything.The food was lovely and freshly cooked by the amazing chef with fresh juice with every meal. The staff could not do enough for us as guests. Our bedroom was on the ground floor and was lovely with an open shower which was amazing to hear nature at night. We recommend anyone who wants to visit a local island to visit Dhigurah and if you enjoy diving, snorkelling or would like to try these then Boutique beach is a must! My husband also had a problem with his ears after diving at the first island and they reassured him and offered to accompany him to the local doctor if needed.

Lovely, friendly Hotel & Diving staff, quiet position very close to a beautiful beach, delicious food (plenty of it too), comfortable bed, open air bathroom with excellent shower. Fantastic dive boat providing lots of room for scuba diving equipment, professional boat & diving team providing a safe experience. Good onboard toilet, water & towels, rinsing showers, tank for camera equipment, front & top decks for sunbathing.

The small number of rooms, the closeness of the beach, the very friendly Hotel & Scuba Diving staff, the delicious food, the comfortable bed, the great outside bathroom with shower, the peaceful position. Fantastic scuba diving boat with excellent crew, toilet, showers on rear boat deck, safe boat & diving procedures, expert & knowledgeable scuba diving instructors, good quality rental equipment, great snorkeling sites for non-divers, accurate Nitrox tank fills (Nitrox 32 was always 32%) & delicious snacks, tea, coffee & readily available water. Lovely front deck sunbathing & more space on the top floor. Brilliant diving sites with manta rays, whalesharks, sharks, tuna, Napoleon Wrasse, stingrays, moray eels & a profusion of colourful reef fish. The diving instructors were very skilled at spotting everything including the well camouflaged octopus.

The property was beautiful and extremely thought out and very comfortable. We have never experienced such a smooth diving experience and every member of staff was outstanding, and made every step of diving feel calm and relaxing, removing all stress. The food was just fab, so many flavours and the chef and staff were extremely attentive and cooked from the heart. If we would have known how magical the hotel, staff and diving experience was, we would have stayed longer. We will be returning and booking again for next year. If you want to go diving in the South-Ari Atoll this is the place to go! Everything is just amazing, location, food, staff and divesites. The diving was just one of a kind. All the staff is so friendly and they do everything in their power to make your stay perfect - we immediately felt at home and enjoyed our stay so much. We will be back for sure! “One of the best weeks of our lives!”

We spent one of the most wonderful weeks of our lives at the Boutique Beach Hotel. We are still beginner divers and couldn't have imagined a more beautiful place for our first special dives. The team is super friendly and professional, and we felt safe and well looked after the whole time. The dive sites are varied, and it's hard to believe how much biodiversity can be reached within a short boat ride from the hotel. Thanks to David for organizing everything and especially to Jax, with whom we spent most of our dives. We also really enjoyed the short presentations by marine biologist Jacob. It was very interesting to learn so much new information about both the manta rays and the whale sharks. This allowed us to enjoy our time with the animals underwater even more and also shows that the entire team cares deeply about ethical animal encounters, which was very important to us as well. Special thanks again to Chef Shanthi and his team, who prepared every meal for us with incredible care and love, and to Saeed, who made us laugh at every meal with his personality. Many thanks also to Mette, who really does everything to make your stay perfect. You feel like you're part of a big family at this hotel. Unfortunately, one week was way too short, and on the day of departure, we were already looking at when we could come back next time. Thank you very much and hopefully see you soon, Emma + Georg

Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The whole team was superb, food was excellent, rooms were spacious and comfy, bathroom was amazing. Beach towels and bags were provided. Mette went out of her way to make our visit exceptional after our arrival was delayed three days. We dived with manta rays for my big birthday and snorkelled with a whale shark and a huge pod of dolphins before flying home. Could not have been better!

Staying at this hotel in Dhigurah was truly exceptional. It exceeded everything we hoped for — especially for those passionate about diving. Every single day, there’s a different diving program carefully planned by an outstanding team of professional and knowledgeable instructors. They know exactly what they’re doing and always take guests to new dive spots, focusing on unique experiences and the chance to see a variety of marine life. What makes it even more special is how the team creates a great group atmosphere. They encourage everyone to interact, creating a fun, collaborative, and friendly environment among guests. Every evening, they screen a video recap of the day’s dive — filmed and edited by the crew — which is such a nice way to relive the experience and connect with fellow divers before dinner. It’s also when they brief the next day’s adventure, building anticipation in the best way. The boat crew is also amazing – they’re highly skilled at finding whale sharks and other sea creatures, and their dedication to making sure guests have the best possible experience is unmatched. They’re truly a reference on the island when it comes to diving expertise. The hotel itself is beautiful and full of thoughtful details. The hospitality and service were outstanding throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the open-air bathroom – it’s such a unique experience to shower surrounded by nature. And the food? Absolutely the best we had in the Maldives. From the moment we arrived, they asked about dietary restrictions and then surprised us every day with a different, delicious menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Every meal felt like it was made with care and creativity. We can’t recommend this place enough – for the hospitality, the incredible diving, the amazing instructors and crew, and the overall experience. Just perfect from beginning to end.

Our time was short, but the scuba diving team made it unforgettable. Seb went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and ensure we made the most of our diving experience. our instructor, Jax, provided us with a thorough scuba refresh training session, which was incredibly reassuring since we hadn't dived in a while. His clear instructions and patient demeanor helped us feel safe and confident as we descended into the vibrant underwater world.

Very great time there, locals staff are very kind, special mention to Seb, he was pretty helpful and we got so nice explanation about the whole trip!

The food was amazing, the staff are great and extremely welcoming. The beds are comfortable and the shower is decent. If I was going to the Maldives again I wouldn't stay anywhere but here. We did the snorkeling option and would recommend it. They were great at accommodating diet requirements and even had it covered on the days we were on the boat. Everything about this location is impressive especially the owner Romney, who took this hotel from idea to reality.

Just came back from a great week at the Boutique Beach hotel in Dhigurah - it was truly amazing! I almost don’t want to share it as I am hoping it stays a best kept secret! The hotel is located on one of the beautiful islands in the Maldives. It is a local island with ~750 inhabitants and a couple of hotels. There are a few shops, ATM and restaurants at the island- all sandy roads and giving you a real local island feeling. Dhigurah is a long island and has an amazing sandy beach with palmtrees and crazy nice blue, warm water. You can have a nice walk along the beach and a great sunbathing spot at the end of it, but you can also walk 10 steps from the hotel to the postcard beach in front of the hotel. Given it’s respect for the local environment- there is no alcohol in the hotel (which was ok for me- and besides two nice sunset moments where it would have been great to have a beer; didn’t miss it and made me feel more rested). When you are walking on the island they ask you to wear cloths that cover your shoulders/to knees, but at the beach you can wear your bikini. The hotel is great and the room has all what you need during your stay - a nice huge bed, an amazing open shower, chargers for phones/cameras and good products. I normally only go to hotels with swimming pools, but didn’t miss it at all!! The team of the hotel offers a really friendly, family and professional environment. At various moments during our stay we were surprised by the staff that made us feel very special and welcomed. We had a cool coconut drink at arrival, cookies on the way back, and during our last evening a surprise meal for example. The team consists of ~15 people that all did their best to give us a great time: friendly, personal but professional and doing a good job. And then the diving/Snorkling- we didnt realise that this was a specific diving hotel, but were so happy that it was!

Everything! The team were amazing, the accommodation was lovely and right on the beach, the food was excellent, communication was super easy, and the diving was incredible. The bathroom and room felt luxurious with lovely products, everything we needed was provided - beach towels etc. Pick up and drop off from the ferry. The island is lovely and quiet with the most stunning beach, great for relaxing afternoons after diving in the morning. The diving/snorkeling was amazing and varied. Surface intervals included snorkeling with whale sharks and manta rays. The instructors and boat team were friendly, professional, and lots of fun.
