It was as I'd expected, clean, comfortable and friendly. The in-room fridge was adequately sized and there was also a kettle, supply of coffee, sugar and tea bags, and a bottle of water. The desk is definitely adequate to work from, as I was doing during my stay. Very good W-Fi.

“Lovely stay in characteristic property”
An excellent find this quirky characteristic property. Owner runs the superb Cinnamon restaurant next door and is extremely helpful. If we need accommodation in this area in future, this will be our #1 choice.

“Delightful place in Deryneia”
I stayed here because of a personal emergency and initially picked this spot solely because of its proximity to the hospital, so I didn't expect much. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the host and staff were incredibly kind and welcoming throughout my stay, helping me with everything I needed. They even offered to wash some laundry for me free of charge. The Cinnamon Lounge that's part of the same establishment has delicious food and a very warm and cozy atmosphere.

The owners are exceptional friendly. Checking in or out late was not only an option; it was offered. A problem with the room lock was solved within minutes. The room was stylish and clean. The quiet old courtyard is a real bonus for reading or breakfast. Just the right place for someone who simply needs a bed in a quiet place without any frills and trills. I will come again because I have family in this little town.

I stayed at Shongas Inn whilst my son was recovering from an accident in the nearby hospital. ( a 15 minute walk away) My room was clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated and the air conditioning was great, together this gave me a tranquil calm place to relax at a very stressful time. The fridge and kettle were a godsend. George and staff, although not on site were easily contacted and responded swiftly to my queries. The Inn is centrally situated in Deryneia with shops and nice tavernas near-by. I was staying alone but felt safe and welcomed at all times. I was disappointed that The Cinammon Lounge is only open in the winter months and was therefore closed during my stay as there are limited breakfast options locallly ( and I would have loved to have dinner in the pretty courtyard). I would definitely recommend a stay at Shongas either for a holiday or you, like me, find you need to be close to the local hospital.
