A perfect stay!!! Second to none!! The kindness of the staff, the rooms ,the facilities, were unbelievably excellent!! The breakfast room and the table service were immaculate!!! If only we could stay here longer!!

A hotel with history and class but modern in its comforts. This was hotel was a throwback to the type of positive experience one had in the past but rarely finds today outside of extremely expensive locations. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and while I don't know her name BRAVO to the lady at reception for her warmth and service. Also, the hotel is located in the centre of Deventer and very convenient.

The hotel was beautifully furnished and the staff were all very welcoming and professional. The menu in the restaurant was excellent, both at breakfast and dinner. The location was perfect and we were impressed with our first visit to Deventer.

The Huis Vermeer is one of those hotels I am sad to leave and cannot wait to return to. It's comfortable, beautiful and unmatched in every way and the staff are, without fail, delightful and eager to assist.

“Fabulous stay in the pittoresk city of Deventer”

The hotel is set in an old building that still boasts most of the interior, but made comfortable and very atmospheric. It’s in a great location, opposite the large church, and all the little streets are in walking distance. Parking was not too difficult in the area. Staffs were very helpful and friendly. Beds were very comfortable (only one pillow though) and so was the bathroom with bath and shower. There’s a restaurant that gets good reviews and a breakfast service - we didn’t use either of them so can’t review those.

“An absolute gem in a lovely town.”

It's a beautiful old townhouse on a lovely square dominated by the church, small, freindly bars, restaurants and a gelato cafe. The town is equally delightful and a short walk. The hotel and staff were lovely. The served breakfast was fresh, with lovely ingredients. Pity it was only a stopover stay, would love to try the restaurant. Very convenient if visiting Thermen Bussloo and don't want to stay at the Thermen.
