The location's in the forest and the surroundings are quite attractive. I could pay by card even though it states only cash. The breakfast was sumptuous. I had a weak wifi connection in the cabin, better than none at all.

“A Wonderful stopover direct at the "Elbe Radweg".”
A wonderful place in the middle of the forest with own "biergarten". Breakfast was also excellent.

“not a place to stay in winter, I left without sleeping there.”
the location is probably great in the summer but it shouldn't be open in winter. almost impossible to find, nothing open so no food or drinks or anything. I left without staying there and found a hotel in town.

“Characterful stay on edge of the forest”
Historic and characterful Forst Haus on the edge of a forest about 20 minutes drive outside Dessau. Easy and friendly check-in. Compact but comfortable room. Traditional breakfast. Free on-site parking. Adjacent beer garden open until 18.00 so quiet in the evening but need to go into Dessau if you want to eat after this time.

“Wonderful place”
Old forest chalet building with a wonderful peaceful atmosphere and heartful hosts. In the middle of the forest yet not far from the A9. When I arrived on a Sunday evening there was a beer fest going on - very loud but good natured. The whole thing went quiet at 8pm Food is good honest traditional German, (so if you’re vegan you might want to call ahead…) The heart shaped toilet seat 💙

“Paradise in the woods with incredible staff!”
I arrived by bike as a female solo traveller and had a great experience. Dinner was amazing! The staff was welcoming and the hotel felt like a little bit of paradise in the woods.
