“A perfect Bauhaus experience”
It is designed in the Bauhaus style which was one of the reasons we chose it. Dessau is known for many things but our visit was focused on the Bauhaus so this was ideal. Plus, we had a view of the main Bauhaus building from the apartment. The apartment itself was very comfortable, modern and stylish. The bed and pillows were lovely and the other furnishings to a high standard. Bathroom is spacious and small kitchen area perfect for short stays. The couple who own the building were delightful and helpful. The apartment also has lots of light. It is also close to the rail station, and many places of interest are in walking distance or a short bike ride or tram ride away. Highly recommend the Bauhaus Café for breakfast and lunch. Just 3 minute walk away. In the centre of town, 20 minute walk away, is an excellent Asian restaurant, Kaori. We had a superb dinner. Some of the best pan Asian food we’ve had. I wish we had booked a third night as there are several interesting places to visit in this area aside from the Bauhaus.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! Location: The apartment is perfectly situated right next to the iconic Bauhaus Building, a must-see for any lover of 20th-century architecture. It’s also conveniently close to the railway station and public transport, making it easy to explore the area. Hosts: The hosts were incredibly friendly and a pleasure to talk to, adding a personal touch to our stay. Apartment: The apartment itself was spotless and exceptionally well-managed. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, ensuring a comfortable experience. Although our stay was short, it was truly delightful. We’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

All the above. Very convenient for Bauhaus and offer of bicycles for travelling round Dessau was much appreciated. Hosts most helpful and accommodating. The facilities (food and wifi) in Bauhaus were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and will recommend. (The photo is the view of the Bauhaus from the window of our accommodation.)

An amazing place to stay in Dessau. The apartment is a must-stay for lovers of Bauhaus architecture. It is a cozy, well-equipped apartment, which also offers a view from the window of the iconic building of the Bauhaus school. Andrea and her husband are very nice and great hosts. “A well thought out studio flat within two minutes walk of Bauhaus complex. Nice cafe there for breakfasts and drinks”
Studio exactly as described, so close to Bauhaus school building. Everything in the studio was clean and well thought out. The communication with the owner was very good, giving access information is case of late arrival etc in booking.com messages. The outside stairs to the 2nd floor was a bit of a challenge, but was o.k. Once used to them.

“a super place to stay”
this accommodation is one of the best we had. A 5 min walk from the station and close to a Bauhaus monument. the apartment is very stylish decorated and everything you need is there. and the small things you sometimes miss in a hotel are in this place. if we visit Dessau again we definitely will stay here!
