“Beautiful hotel, helpful staff and great restaurant- highly recommend!”
Surety is a beautifully restored hotel with a great vibe and super nice staff. They took great care of me and my dog, Amy upgraded us to ensure we were in a very quiet room so my dog was relaxed. The rooms are large and nicely done, bed was perfect. I ate at the restaurant twice and was very impressed with the cocktails and locally sourced fish, veg and homemade pasta. It’s very close to Court Street and the nightlife. I will definitely stay again and highly recommend it!

The restaurant in the hotel was over priced my filet was burnt. Overall bad experience. The room was ok

Common areas are fun with a pool table. Room is modern, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and efficient.

“Cool, modern, dog-friendly hotel”
Lovely restored hotel with a cool, modern vibe in downtown Des Moines. Right off Court St. district with tons of restaurants and fun Saturday Farmer's Market. We enjoyed the clean, comfortable rooms with modern amenities. The restaurant food was all delicious. Service was always on point. That it's very dog friendly and welcoming is a big bonus for those traveling with their pets.

“Amazing boutique hotel gem”
This hotel is amazing. Beautiful lobby with plenty of space to sit and work or relax. Lovely restaurant and bar area. Super comfortable and modern rooms. Warm and friendly staff. Thanks for an exceptional stay!!
