“A Great Place To Spend Time Peacefully.”

The resort is absolutely stunning and surrounded by nature, making it one of the most peaceful and relaxing places I’ve ever visited. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for a quiet getaway, and the atmosphere felt so refreshing and calming.

We had a fantastic experience at Forest Shade Eco Resort. The staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming – they truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. They even helped us organise a driver and arranged some great trips, which made exploring the area so much easier and more enjoyable. The accommodation itself was lovely – peaceful, clean, and surrounded by beautiful nature. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We felt so well taken care of throughout our stay, and we would definitely stay here again.

“Amazing Getaway”
The stay was truly unforgettable. The resort is safely secluded from the hustle and bustle of the city. For those seeking a tech detox, this is the perfect place, as there’s no phone service to distract you. This allows you to reconnect with nature and your travel companions, as well as the friendly staff—Chamara, Sunil, Pasindu, and Manager Roshan—who ensured we were well taken care of with their excellent service. The location is full of waterfalls and breathtaking views of a river and mountains. Cleanliness is to be improved which is hard to maintain as we discussed with staff as close to a river and location in a tropical rainforest. We indeed enjoyed our stay. The staff was so friendly and the meals were of course delicious.

Literally an eco resort. A place that can be recommended for a vacation in a completely silent environment. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Food and drinks are very clean and delicious. Highly recommended for couple or family stay.

“We will come again!”
My partner and I stayed at Forest Shade Eco Resort earlier this month and we had a wonderful experience. We came cycling from Colombo and unfortunately had a small accident on the way. We called the hotel and they arranged a vehicle that picked us up straight from the hospital, everything went super smoothly and it was absolutely sweet how everyone was so concerned about us (we are fine now). This place is definetely the right spot when you need to recover from a bicycle accident or life in gereral. Our room and the attached balcony overlooked the river and we had a fantastic view! The food was lovely as well, we got the Sri Lankan option for dinner and breakfast and loved it. This place is a 100 percent recommendation and we will definetely come again on our bikes to explore the beautiful area a bit more.
