I liked that it was affordable and had free street parking. I liked the historical charm of the building and room. I liked that they were responsive and allowed an early check in. The beds were comfy and the space was large. The maintenance man was friendly and took care of our needs.

“Cozy, old-fashioned place that met our needs, with a super helpful and responsive host.”
We really enjoyed our stay! The place has a more old-fashioned vibe, so if you’re expecting something grand, it might not meet your expectations. However, it was exactly what we needed, and we liked it a lot. The host was amazing—very kind, helpful, and always quick to respond. He really went out of his way to assist us. Would definitely recommend!

“Good value for Denver, definitely not a chain motel which is a plus”

We made a reservation and when we got there late at night, all the rooms were occupied and they moved us to a house. That’s not what we booked.

“Looks romantic and old-fashioned, but old and run-down place”
The room was clean, bathroom in working order. The place could have such potential, but it looks like serious renovation would be needed, the garden to be maintained (as I could not even find the entrance sign through the bushes). The emails I received looked beautiful and detailed, so the reality was disappointing.

Location and price are good. Also good was the garden, where you could sit and have a quiet drink. The room did not have an electric plug socket next to the bed, or even near the bed, so I could not use my sleep apnea machine, which meant I had a bad nights sleep.

“Lovely building and interior, but not a great neighborhood”
This is such a cool building. I loved the vibe of the rooms and the inside. The old building was super unique and our room was huge for the price. I would definitely stay there again.

“Avoid at all costs!”
Dodgy location - loud and suspect neighbours. The ghetto end of town. Room was dirty, stains on bedding, mouldy food in the fridge, a fusty smell throughout. Entrace and whole building looked neglected. Front door unlocked, no security or reception. Manager failed to address concerns and seemed confrontational when concerns were raised with her. Avoid.

Loved the Victorian design, nice location with public transport not far to get to the train station.

“Exactly what was needed for a RedRocks concert stay!”
it was kitty-korner from the shuttle pick-up spot for a concert @ redrocks. I was able to park on High St & hang put at a coffee shop until check in. A little issue with the room door was quickly addressed by an on-site staff person, the bathroom was perfectly functional so I was able to prep in about an hour then go meet my friend & head to the show. The walk back after was easy and i slept well.
