“Peaceful.”

Everything was so very well thought out with the customer in mind. We were there for piece an quiet and it was! Great seating patio on our suite with private hot tub and plunge pool...heaven! There's a path down to the beach on other side of road. Lots of seats down there and you can explore for as long as you want. It is not a sand beach more a rock shale shoreline. I saw otters as I walked it. Lovely place I would recommend...

Great quiet location with easy access to beach. Our room was lovely and clean with a nice view. The private hot-tub/cold plunge was a nice touch and was enjoyed.

“Sleepless in Denman.”

The owner has known for a very long time that the windows in the upper suite where we stayed MUST have blinds or curtains to block out the sun. He has done nothing about it. He also knows that if the downstairs porch light is left ON during the night it also creates an issue upstairs as it makes the bedroom look like it is light flooded all night long. He has done nothing about it. My wife and I left one day early because we had little sleep and all he did was say, "I will give you a discount for your next stay" There will be NO NEXT STAY!! He should have refunded us the cost for one night. That is what good host does. A greedy one like he is, collects money and does nothing to improve his property. Furthermore the "Hot Tub" hardly a "hot" tub was leaking and mostly empty and he also knew that as well and had done NOTHING! The problem of course is not entirely his, but Booking.com should shoulder some of the blame for not kicking him off their site. I use exclusively Booking.com for all my travels and find it distasteful to have no assistance from Booking.com

Everything was perfect. The accommodation was of a high standard with lovely extras outside - hot tub, hammock, garden chairs & table. The views are spectacular.

Everything was amazing the room was so well kitted out with the personal hot tub and the private beach so close by. Mark was attentive and great communicator, he really made our stay magical. Only regret was not staying here longer. Would recommend this place to anyone, a little paradise getaway! 11/10!!!

“A True Getaway”

Very much enjoyed the landscape around the unit, the view from the table, magnificent. I would love to wake up there every morning for at least a week. The walk down to the beach and the outdoor sauna is incredible, couldn't think of staying anywhere else.

The Owner was highly attentive and available when needed. We absolutely felt that he cared about the space. We sincerely appreciated the flexibility in rescheduling several of the amenities that we had booked, often at a moments notice. The check in process is thorough, with detailed explanations of how everything worked and the house rules. The property is quiet, which was what we were looking for. The decor is modern and clean and the use of space is exceptionally good. The hot tub, with essential oils and cold plunge, were a treat that was enjoyed both nights. The sauna at the beach provided a unique experience and we would recommend it to everyone.

Everything about the suite was comfortable, and the extras (view, private yard, hammock, private hot tub and cold plunge tub, steps away from the massage room and infrared sauna, and steps from the beach) was amazing.

We enjoyed our two nights at this lovely location very much. Everything we needed was there, and everything was immaculately clean. It is tastefully furnished with many charming details, and it was quiet and very relaxing. Mark is very friendly and nice, and gave us clear instructions about all the amenities around and about the place. The sauna on the beach was a fantastic experience.

The location was fantastic with the beach just a few paces away. Also, the private hot tub and beach sauna facilities were fabulous.

Location was beautiful. Quiet, tranquil and serene. Very private. Comfortable and clean. Attention to detail was very good. Well appointed with outdoor hot tub and cold plunge tub if we wanted. Access to private beach with oceanside woodfired sauna made for a perfect end to the day. Mark was informative, easily contactable and onsite if we needed anything. We were made to feel very welcome and that Mark cared that we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend.

Lovely peaceful location with great views. Luxurious accommodation. We borrowed bikes and a rowing boat which added to the pleasure. The owner was very solicitous in wanting to ensure everything was just right.

The location was perfect! The fire pit/beach access was easy and beautiful! We loved this place!

The unit was wonderful! Modern, generously equipped with a lot of thought, heart and good taste! We enjoyed the private outdoor hot tub and had coffee early in the morning outside while it was raining. Very peaceful! Mark, the owner is a very pleasant man, was available for anything we needed and otherwise respected our privacy. We did some grocery shopping before coming to Denman Island so we didn't need to relay on the local store (tiny) or restaurants (not sure there are any...)
