Absolutely stunning view, green horizon. Great point to see rainforest, however it takes time to get there. Fresh coconut just gathered from the tree. Family opens to share their life with us.

We were very happy with everything about the property. The location and the view were so beautiful that we woke up every morning with a smile on our faces. I would like to thank the family who hosted us once again. Our wish is that our path will cross Rainforest Nature Home again at another time. Thank you again for everything. The food we ate was also delicious. They showed us around their garden and helped us with everything. It’s definitely a place where you can stay surrounded by nature without hesitation. We highly recommend it. If you work online, because of the home’s location you can comfortably work using your phone’s mobile internet. I would have liked to upload more photos, but I was so busy enjoying the view that it didn’t even occur to me to take pictures :)

“Breathtaking view and amazing host”

The location is absolutely stunning. Surrounded by nature, it boasts a breathtaking mountain view right from the balcony of the cabana. The cabana was cosy and clean. The food was also a highlight, as it was freshly prepared and delicious. The host is an excellent cook. The best food in Sri Lanka so far! On top of the amazing view and rainforest atmosphere, the host and his family are super nice, kind and helpful in every way. I stayed there for a couple of days, which I would highly recommend.

It was wonderful. Dumith and his family where so welcoming, the food was lovely and the rainforest tour very good. The location was incredible: right in the rainforest, with a great view above the valley and beautiful rainforest sound: birds, monkeys.. I can highly recommend this place ! I booked it for 2 nights but if possible, I would stay longer.

The nature house is very nicely located in the middle of the nature and the quiet and is absolutely beautiful!

It could not be much better - such a beautiful view and lovely cottages, and the family who runs it is the sweetest people in the world. You fall asleep to the sound of the rainforest with a panoramic view over the mountains. The food the give you is amazing and they are very helpful. I would recommend really everyone to stay here!

“Highly Recommend ❤️”

It is a very attractive and beautiful place. I was there alone, but I am happy to say that I did not feel lonely at any time. At night I sat on the balcony. Then my fatigue disappeared and my mind felt very light. When I woke up in the morning, I was able to see many birds. As well as various types of birds, since it is near the Sinharaja forest, I was able to see various types of other animals. The WiFi was good, so I was able to know the details about those animals right away. The food was very tasty and beautifully prepared. It was excellent. The family was friendly and helpful. I tell everyone, come and enjoy the beauty like me. It is a really good place.

The location of this accommodation is incredible - the room is high up a hill overlooking a valley so you get the best views over the valley. We did bird watching from the balcony in the morning - highly recommend. The room was very clean and the food was delicious - home cooked Sri Lankan food at a very reasonable price. The owner is very friendly and happy to help. He recommended us a river to take a dip very close by.

We really enjoyed our day. It is a very beautiful place on a hill and the surroundings are very attractive and free. The food we had was very tasty and the prices were reasonable. The owner and his family are very friendly. Even though it was cold at night, we did not feel uncomfortable because there was hot water. The wifi system was very good, so we were able to do our internet work easily without any problems. The environment in the morning was very attractive. We will definitely come back to spend time there again, thanks to the staff.

Do not hesitate to book this, the place is absolute magic, the hosts are so kind and amazing cooks. I had the best local food here and really relaxed, enjoyed the incredible view and really experienced Sri Lanka. The host supported my driver to find it and I was not disappointed. The hike in the forest was incredible. Thank you for everything team.

The natural environment was really nice. The owner of the homestay was very helpful and carried our luggage for us from the main road.

Really charming 'homestay' style place run by very nice family. Our little house had absolutely incredible views over the forest. The hosts arranged our visit to the forest and the guide. Nothing fancy here, just simple,clean and comfortable accommodation. It's a bit hard to find but the host came out on this scooter and met our tuktuk driver who was lost, so all was well. I recommend staying here.
