“Perfect”

The property was located in outskirts of Sinharaja Rainforest, which is a great surrounding. The owner, Sarath, was specifically helpful with everything and his kind wife provided us with hot water for our 4 months old puppy.

Hi. Myself and My husband we went to stay in this Rainforest Holiday Inn Resort. They are having very good services and the  Management and staffs also are very friendly, kindly & helpful. They are foods was very delicious and testy👌 They are always supports us in our stay. During our stay they fulfilled our needs very well. I am giving my Rate 10/10 to this Rainforest Holiday Inn Resort. I am highly recommend in this Rainforest Holiday Inn Resort to everyone Who is planing your holiday to saty in this Resort and enjoy your holiday very well there is no doubts or getting afraid about this Rainforest Holiday Inn Resort. I would like to thank everyone. The rooms are very clean. The food is very good. The staff is polite and friendly. Special mention should be made to Mr. Sarath, when my car broke down, he helped me a lot to fix it. They looked after us like family members. If you are going to visit the Sinharaja forest, I highly recommend the hotel.

“Great stay”

Great location near to most of the attractions. Mr. Sarath is exceptionally good and provided all the services and he helped with getting a motor bike for us. Food is lovely. Value for money is excellent.

“I would stay again in the future”

The location was great and the host was also a forest guide who took me on a trip which was amazing. The hosts are wonderful and friendly. There was a menu to order food and drinks from. Food was cooked fresh and was tasty. The room was basic but comfortable. I was in a guest room rather than the villas.

“Very good”

The host and his wife are such sweet people, specially the wife was doing everything to make you feel good. she made a very nice dinner and breakfast too. The tomatosoup was fantastic. The location was amazing and I did get fresh chili`s. Seeds I`ve got from the lovely girl next door. '

Very comfy room. Good WiFi which is rare in Sri Lanka. Host is a forest guide so he can set the tour up for you including pick up and drop off. Breakfast is a good size.Tuk Tuk from Deniyaya bus station 2000 LKR

“Beautiful place in the middle of the jungle”

Our time in the jungle at Rainforest Holiday Inn was really nice! They picked us up from the bus stop in Mederipitiya and took us to their lovely place in the middle of the jungle. We did a whole day trip at Sinharaja with Sareth which was amazing! He’s a really good guide and will spot any animal in the jungle :)) The food that his wife cooks is amazing and they give you really bis portions ;) Just walking around in the area is really nice too and they also showed us some places like a river really close to the house where you can take a bath :))

“Very disappointing”

The wifi strength was good and the bed was comfortable. We chose this place based on the excellent reviews but were so disappointed. We left after one night and moved to much better accommodation for the same price.

The hosts Sarath and Vidya really were the nicest hosts we’ve had for a long time. We were welcomed with a delicious watermelon shake and felt as if it had been our own home. The view on the terrace was phenomenal. We also booked a rainforest trekking tour with Sarath as our tour guides and he answered every questions thoroughly and even took some pictures for us. Because of the political situation we had to stay a night longer than planned due to the curfew. Our hosts made sure we feel more than comfortable and even took us to their friends house and made us feel like family. And the bathroom has been the cleanest bathroom we’ve had during our whole backpacking trip in Sri Lanka. We really recommend this place!!

“Delightful family run lodge.”

I particularly enjoyed the peace and quiet of this family run place. I am a birdwatcher and stayed 8 nights and visited the park 4 times. my spare time was spent on the lovely terrace or walking the small roads and paths in the Valley. Sarath looked after every need in detail with great care! A super host! And home cooked food was top of the range!
