The master is pretty nice and friendly. We checked out earlier because we were going to rainforest in the morning. Unfortunately, there's a heavy raining that day. Our body and Backpage got wet .the master let us come back to use bathroom and take a shower for free. Pretty appreciate!

Beautiful garden and super swimming pool! The room is comfortable and the owner is very friendly! We had a delicious dinner and breakfast here! We enjoyed this place a lot!

This.place is on a quiet side street with very little traffic. If you are a nature lover, this place is for you. Enjoy birds and plenty of wildlife sightings right from the comfort of the 2nd floor balcony. The pool is refreshing and crystal clear. Breakfast is delicious. Our room was nicely appointed and everything was new. The shower had very good hot water and good pressure. Deniyaya town center is about a 10 minute walk. I highly recommend this place. A real 5 star.

One of the best accomondations that I ever had anywhere in the world. Stuff is amazing, very kind and very helpfull. Everything eas amazing. The owner gave us a contact for Sinharaja tour, which was amazing also.

This place was amazing. Very beautiful and classy accommodation with lovely views out into the surrounding gardens and plants.The pool was wonderful as was the evening food and breakfast.The host was super accommodating helping to book us a jungle tour and onward taxi journey as well as dry our wet towels and costumes!

If you like nature, this is the place to be! It’s surrounded by the jungle, which makes it very quite. The owner is very caring, even drove us to our next destination. Two elderly people work there. They are very sweet and caring for everything. Honestly, they made the best food we had on our Sri Lanka trip. It’s a well rounded place I can absolutely recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Healand Holiday Bungalow and Restaurant. Communication was great. Jayasing looked after us well and we had two delicious dinners there. One was the best vegetarian rice and curry we've had so far in Sri Lanka. Lots of new curries to try too. We also had buffalo curd with bush honey which was delicious. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was very inviting and garden lovely. Lots of birds and wildlife around. We had two early starts and our hosts provided a packed breakfast for our Sinharaja rainforest trip. We highly recommend your stay here.

Felt like a little paradise. The swimming pool was super nice and the dinner was one of the best we had in Sri Lanka! The hosts also gave us the contact for a rainforest tour guide. Sadly we could only stay for one night.

We've been in some pretty good places in Sri Lanka, but this one was definitely the cleanest and most well-maintained. Large rooms, plenty of space around, terraces, a swimming pool... the water in the pool was fantastic. And it was right next to the rainforest and bus station. You can actually watch different species of birds from the swimming pool.. The meals were excellent, different every day. Everything was perfect.

“Relaxation and rejuvenation in a natural haven”

Deniyaya is 170 km south of Colombo but a million miles from the hustle and bustle. You can get there in 5 hours by bus. Healand Holiday Bungalow is located a 20 minute walk from Deniyaya and is a haven for peace and tranquility. It is a small family-run establishment providing clean rooms, attentive friendly service and excellent Sri Lankan food. I settled into a pattern of excursions to the nearby Singaraja Forest in the morning followed by a lazy afternoon in the pool, reading and birdwatching. Choose the air conditioned rooms over the basic rooms (no hot water) for greater comfort. Looking forward to returning!

I had such a lovely stay at Healand Holiday Bungalow! Everything was perfect: hosts, room, pool, food, location! I can definitely recommend to stay here for multiple nights.

We stayed in a balcony room that was nicely furnished and exceptionally clean. The pool was a definite highlight, set in a beautiful setting and perfect for relaxation. The food was plentiful and very tasty, offering something for everyone. The host was very friendly and accommodating, even arranging a guide for the rainforest tour, which was well-organized and enjoyable. Overall, a pleasant stay in a recommendable accommodation.
