The route to the hotel was along a poorly maintained road. Hopefully, there are better roads to this hotel. The hotel is located in the middle of a residential area (?), has a sea view and an infinity pool. Private terrace/balcony. Modern decor, no elevator, delicious breakfast, and nice facilities in the room (such as a kettle and shower products).

“Just cosy”

Very clean and cozy villa with a lovely atmosphere. The breakfast was simple but nice, and enough to start the day well — especially if you prefer lighter options over oily bacon and sausages. We also really appreciated that dogs are welcome.

The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and extremely attentive. The house itself is simply furnished but has a cosy feel to it. The swimming pool and terrace are very cosy and offer a lovely view of the sea. Breakfast is excellent, with plenty of choice.

The Atalaya Boutique Hotel is set on a stunning hillside just about 1 km from the center of Denia—and from the moment you arrive, it feels truly special. The panoramic views over the sea are simply breathtaking, and the peaceful, relaxed atmosphere makes it easy to switch off and unwind. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the warmth and friendliness of the service—you genuinely feel welcomed and cared for. Little details make a big difference: being able to charge your electric car right at the door, bringing along your small dog, and starting the day with an incredibly delicious breakfast. It’s one of those places you don’t just stay at—you enjoy every moment of being there.

Absolute gem of a property with unrivalled views. A little out of town but some great restaurants within walking distance. Denia itself particularly around the old town is superb.

“Very disappointing”

I really don’t understand all the outstanding reviews of this place and I’d advise to take note of the negative ones. The views are good and that’s it. Most people spent the day out. You come back in the evening and it was too cold to enjoy your terrace. The fridge in the room was noisy. I couldn’t get in using the code one morning. It didn’t seem to be working, minus the usual accompanying beep sound when it was working. I rang the doorbell several times but nobody responded. I called the owner to open the door but got an answerphone. The beach is not very nice in that part of Dénia. Breakfast - What is this about fantastic breakfast? Nicely presented yes, but everything in or from a packet, nothing home-made. For those prices, really. Not enough space in the 'What didn't you like' section for my comments

“Ideal place to switch off. Just what we needed.”

Beautiful, well looked after. Lovely designed. Tried to extend the stay but was fully booked. Good to go for long walks. We did’t touch the car for 3 days - walked on average 15Kms per day, maybe that was unusual. Will come back.

“I was really pleasantly surprised with my room and this accommodation overall”

My room was much nicer than expected for the price. The continental style breakfast was really impressive. The view from the room was great. The check-in process was easy and flawless despite they’re not being anybody there to physically welcome me. Also, the Wi-Fi was great and there was no pressure for me to leave after checkout so I worked remotely from the terrace which was lovely.

Beautiful retreat for a couple of days and walking distance to the port, castle and old town. Fabulous location Lovely breakfast Great facilities

Beautiful and interesting property, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Fantastic views and ideal for a quiet getaway close to the lovely town of Denia. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was excellent.

The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to help. Breakfast was amazing and included. Lots of choice and you could eat on the beautiful terrace and take in the views.

This was our second visit to Atalaya, a stunning Ibiza-style property with sensational sea views from the terrace and our room, in particular. There are beautiful walks along the nearby beach.

The villa was in a quiet location with fantastic views across to the ocean. The villa was clean and tidy. We had a lovely room with a large patio.
