Het Huis van de Wadden in Den Oever was a compact but well-considered space, ideal for an overnight stop. We really appreciated the generous breakfast provisions and the secure bike storage in a locked shed.

“Comfortable and correct for the price.”

We’ve rented one room for three and one room for two. The room for three is located at the attic, quite comfortable, though not recommended if you have problem going up and down the stairs. The room was two is behind a toilet. Apart from being a bit small, things feel new and clean. The host offered complimentary tea and coffee throughout the day. The breakfast came with bread, fresh food, boiled eggs, cold cuts, butter, cheese and jam. We found Den Oever itself quite a charming little town. We had a fantastic dinner at Basalt, a seafood restaurant.

Exceptional good B&B, nice people that are there when needed, great amenity with a little café/restaurant to have a drink or a bite. The town of Den Oever with its historic harbour is nice to explore.

This place captivates with its atmosphere - it is beautifully decorated, with many charming details that give it a unique character. Beautiful place but i got told off by the owner for not seeing that they only have check-in between 3 and 5. It was a really unpleasant mood with feigned friendliness. I had to show the owner that nowhere on booking.com it’s visible that they only check in until 5 and she still didnt believe me. Im sure the staff is friendly with people but i felt like a 12 year old kid being scolded (i arrvived at 20pm)
