Excellent apartments for a holiday on the island. The apartments are located on the second floor of the owner’s house and can be locked with a key. Everything inside was clean and tidy. On the same floor, there is a private bathroom with a separate entrance (not directly from the apartment), also lockable. There is a fridge and an oven with both cooking and reheating functions — very convenient. The location is quiet and comfortable. Within 5 minutes’ walk, you can find several grocery stores, cafés, and a bike rental shop (perfect for getting to the beach easily). There’s also a parking space for a car right next to the house. Apart from a few minor drawbacks, everything was great. I would be happy to stay here again.

I’m so glad I changed my original booking to stay at Homestay Texel! The location is perfect for exploring the island by bike. The accommodation was tidy and clean and matched the description. Last but not least, Aelita is such a warm and welcoming host, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I’d definitely book again!

Friendly hostess. Good and safe bicycle parking in the back yard and parking at the front. Very close to centre of Den Burg for shopping and restaurants.

Everything was clean, working and in a quiet house and neighbourhood. Very cute room and functional bathroom and facilities. You can find everything you need, and in a very good status.

“Lovely stay at Den Burgh”
Aelita was really the best host you could imagine. When I told her that I recently turned vegan, she brought me a home made salad, delicious watermelon and vegan chocolate. She also helped me with a charging cable that I forgot to take from home.
