De Museumkamer is situated inside the Museum Galerie RAT in the historical centre of Den Burg on the island Texel in the Wadden Sea. The accommodation provides guests with a look at the museum's artworks directly from one of the windows. Free WiFi is available. The room comes with a view on the church and the central park of Den Burg, a private shower and coffee and tea facilities. The accommodation is decorated with art objects made out of beach combed materials. Guests can also enjoy the small library of art books at the reading table. By staying at De Museumkamer you support the Museum Galerie and thereby contribute to both art and cleaner beaches on the island of Texel. “Spending the night in a museum”
Wonderful place! You're literally sleeping in a museum and the room is amazing, full of books, board games, and vinyls. There is no kitchen but there is an egg boiler and a kettle. The owners are very kind and helpful too. Wifi was also great.

“Very kind hosts, beautiful room, good art experience.”
The hosts were very nice. The property was practically at the very center of Den Burg with easy access to many kind of shops. The room itself is inside a museum and we got to have an after hours special visit accompanied by the hosts. We enjoyed browsing through the large number of books about art and also the vinyl records and a player we had in the room.

A great location for exploring Texel, close to shops and restaurants. A bit quirky, but mostly in a good way! Maria's art creations are well worth attention :-) Comfortable bed and great bedside lights.

“Fantastic!”
Great location, quiet street even when in the middle of town, spacious rooms with beautiful furniture, comfy bed, lets of extra pillows and towels, and a good temperature on a hot day. Lovely people, and a really unique experience overall.

Perfect location with hospitable generous hosts who are willing to share their stories! The comfortable room is nicely decorated with lots of love and artistic efforts visible in every detail possible. It's spacious with sofa, dining table, rich library, free tea & coffee, etc... It's also hosted in the meaningful private museum that turns beach waste in Texel into lively installation!
