Magical experience at Delft Jungle Beachfront Villa. Our young host was very kind and helpful, always attentive to our needs. The blue crab dinner prepared by his mother was truly delicious, authentic and heartfelt — a family experience we will never forget. The place itself is magical, in direct contact with the wild nature of Delft Island. Perfect for those seeking peace, authenticity, and a chance to experience Delft far from mass tourism. The included bicycles allowed us to explore the island freely — wild horses, the giant baobab, the Dutch fort. Highly recommended for travelers who want the most authentic experience of northern Sri Lanka. Thank you from the heart!

It's definitely rustic, which I loved, but if you want an actual bed (rather than a mattress under a mozzie net) that's not up a ladder, maybe this isn't for you. Likewise if you insist upon say a roof on your shower or toilet (wuss). It does have all the mod cons (if not air con - it's a beach hut on stilts ok?) - power, lights, a fan and WiFi - as huts go this is luxury! And the food was delicious. The room is a few netted mattresses, one lockable cupboard and some hooks - ooh and a balcony. Basic but all necessities covered

“Simple huts in beautiful location with a charming local owner”

Small locally owned rustic property with sea views and refreshing sea breeze. Huts are basic but comfortable and toilet shower facilities are good. The breeze running through the huts on stilts was lovely, i had the best nap there.. Tuk Tuk tour with Cony around the island was a great way to see the scenic spots

“Just like heaven”

This place is just like heaven. The land, the beach, the hut, the shower, everything is ideal. Consy is a wonderful host who knows exactly what travelers need and expect. He also wants to preserve the calm and authenticity of the place, which makes it even more magical. I will never forget my stay there.

Totally tranquil rustic ocean environment. Excellent crab for supper, great breakfast too.

We loved our stay at the Delft Jungle Beachfront Villa. The cabins are basic but clearly made with a lot of love, and include many little features that makes them quite comfy. Direct access to the beach and the see and the food provided was also great.

Hidden gem on the island, really out of the beate track and with a lovely staff

Fantastic stay, the bungalows are right on the beach, they are basic but super comfortable with all you need. Conny the owner is super hospitable and very helpful. I had an extremely relaxing and tranquil stay and I highly recommend it

“Heaven.”

Cony was exceptionally hospitable - the place is gorgeous and so peaceful by the sea. It's basic, rustic and simple, that's what we loved. With delicious food and warm hospitality - the open air washing facilities are a treat. Sea is full of coral so take some swimming shoes and come prepared for quiet time. Also.. I think Cony would benefit from some volunteers to help with the beach clean & building!

Amazing location. So nice to be staying in such unique accommodation. Cony our host was wonderful & ensured we had everything we needed. A truly magical place, ideal if you want to really get back to nature. The best place we have stayed so far in Sri Lanka.

The host was amazing so kind and helpful. He really made our stay amazing with an excellent sunset tuk tuk tour of the island, delicious fresh crab dinner and organising our transport to and from the port. Would highly recommend staying here, we loved it!

Lovely place, I liked it so much I extended my stay. Very peaceful place to come to unwind. Cony is an excellent host and great to chat to. The food is really tasty. Private beach is beautiful and it's a short bike ride from the village. Sunset boat trip is also fab.

“Love, love, love. Beat stay in Sri Lanka!”

Love, love, love this place!! I cannot recommend it highly enough. Don’t hesitate to book - I recommend at least two nights. It was my favourite stay after 7 weeks in Sri Lanka. Cony is the best and most trustworthy host you can imagine. The huts are just wonderful. Big and breezy with views of the water, comfortable place to sit, fam, security locker (not that you need it, it’s so safe) and mosquito net. Cony is also building a beachfront cafe that should be open soon with lots of other exciting plans for the future. The food was also delicious, especially the crab curry!! He also rents bikes and knows everything about the island, its attractions, transport etc.

“A magnificent beautiful place”

It was magnificent, such a beautiful and clean place. I extended and would have love to stay for ever. There are many birds, the beach is very close and the food made by the owner is fantastic. Thanks again for the hospitality and also the good communication how to get there and back!!!

Stunning location, very peaceful - just the birds and the waves. Very eco friendly and the loveliest host. Delicious food. The perfect island getaway.

We had the place for ourselves and loved it, we felt isolated from the rest of the world but the host was still available any time.

Very nice stay, the host was super helpful. Very nice accomodation. Bed was comfy. He made a dinner for us, it was delicious. We rented a bikes also to discover all island.

Peace — silence — simplicity

A very nice Eco-friendly concept consisting of 3 bungalows with a hamock and a sitting area below and a room upstairs where you can decide to either close them at night or keep them open air to enjoy the nice breeze ..you Aldo have a good en fourniture where you can lock your belongings ànd a fan ..share bathroom and toilet at the entrance of the property The place is run by Cony, a very smart guy who understand perfectly sustanability and who is willing to keep a low impact on the environment Great wifi , excellent tuk tuk service for transfers from or to the harbour and flr sightseeîng (Best done immediately when you arrive in Delft so you can relax after that at the beachfront ) Good dinner
