Overview
This historic hotel in the heart of Deidesheim offers spacious rooms and an award-winning restaurant. It is 60 metres from the town hall and a 5-minute walk from Deidesheim Train Station. The air-conditioned rooms of the Deidesheimer Hof include safety deposit boxes and windows which can be opened. Bathrobes and hairdryers are provided in each bathroom. Creative gourmet cuisine is served in the Schwarzer Hahn restaurant, in the hotel’s historic cellar. Guests can also enjoy regional food in the traditional St. Urban restaurant or on the terrace overlooking the marketplace. The Deidesheimer Hof stands on the German Wine Route, beside the Pfälzerwald (Palatinate Forest). Many wine taverns and vineyards can be explored on foot from the Deidesheimer Hof. The hotel also provides rental bicycles.

“I can recommend this Hotel without any limitations! If for a personal stay or as a wedding location”
Wonderful Hotel, the rooms are stylish, clean and spacious. The breakfast is very good and the outside space is impressive. I attended a wedding and we could have not had a better event - thank you so much! I want to highlight especially Ms. Zech at the reception - she was absolutely amazing!

“Short Christmas Market visit.”
A very comfortable short stay for the Christmas market, which was right outside the front door! Great location very characterful older hotel. With décor and nice ambiance to match. Reception staff were super friendly and efficient, with for example useful messages upfront to ensure a comfortable stay. Room was comfortable and very clean indeed. Nice breakfast room and good buffet spread as well a cooked options. Room was a good size and rate was good value compared to other options (we have stayed in) in town.

Very comfortable room with a small couch to relax. Location in the heart of the town, just perfect. Breakfast was good (not outstanding either), breakfast service was kind, though a bit inefficient at times. Smooth and friendly check-in and checkout

“Excellent hotel with brilliant staff who were very helpful. Brilliant location.”
Breakfast was 30 Euros and for this, you had good choice and the breakfast staff were so helpful. You felt very welcome at this hotel and the rooms are so tastefully done, calming and welcoming. Excellent location and it would have been nice if the bar had have been opened during our 3 night stay, but we'll be back to try it the next time.

I know this hotel from many many years ago when it was the Romantic hotel and loved it. We used it as a base many years ago for the Hockenheim GP where my company sponsored a leading team. It has changed become larger and more impersonal. The main restaurant is now a 300 euro speciality epicure restaurant. I used to have true German schlachtplatte mit Bratkartoffeln with friends in the same place. Now the small "normal" restaurant serves very expensive meals nowhere near what I looked for. Always a mistake going back in time.
