What a beautifully house nestled up in the mountains! Absolutely mind blowing views, and so peaceful. Slave was very helpful and met us just by the main road and even drove us and all out luggage up to the house and back down the next day - a very friendly and knowledgeable host.

What can I say about this property. Imagine being at a house in the middle of nowhere, you can only hear the sounds of nature and have the most relaxing time ever. Really clean, WiFi, fireplace and a lot of space to spend a weekend or even a whole week. The best part of all… the host, mr Slave and his wife are two amazing people, friendly and were available for everything we needed. They even invited us to enjoy some rakija, and traditional Balkan treats. You don’t even need a big car or an suv because mr Slave has a Land Rover to travel you up and down as many times as you may need. Everytime we called him he arrived in 20 minutes tops. So in conclusion, you only need some vacation days and a car and you are good to go.

“Away from it all. Total relaxation”

We loved this place. One of the highlights of our trip around Macedonia. The owner, Slave and his wife met us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. The view is amazing. A totally relaxing place, away from it all. The plunge pool was lovely for a refreshing dip. The road up the mountain is a challenge but we knew that from reviews. We took all the food we needed up with us as we knew that we would not want to drive the car up the mountain more than once.

We had an amazing stay at Villa Gorno Melnicani! The view, the nature and the pool made our two nights here just perfect!! Slave and his wife was very welcoming and friendly! We will definitely come back one day, and we absolutely recommend staying at this beautiful place!

The view from there is astonishing, and the villa was very clean. The road is not asphalted during the last 5-6km so it is advised to use SUV on your way up! However, if you are with a smaller car, you can live the car in the host's backyard and he is kind enough to give you a ride up to the villa.

We had an incredible stay! The place was impeccably clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The scenery was breathtaking, with stunning mountain and lake views right from the property. Waking up to such a peaceful and beautiful setting was a dream. What made our experience even more special was the host’s kindness. They went out of their way to help us when we needed assistance, making us feel truly welcome. If you’re looking for a clean, scenic, and relaxing place with outstanding hospitality, this is it. Highly recommended—we would definitely return!

One of the most amazing places I have seen in the past months and years. Yes, the driving to the location is adventurous but the host helps if needed. The house itself has an amazing view, very nice interior (basic and not luxurious, but it fits perfect into the location). Nice beds- the oven was also amazing. Kitchen is ok and has everything one needs - although you should not expect too much equipment.

“Charming villa, breathtaking views, amazing host experience.”

This villa is truly one of the most charming and authentic accommodations we've experienced in our extensive travels. Despite the rainy and cloudy weather during our visit, the atmosphere was absolutely breathtaking, and we came to appreciate the slow dance of the clouds—a calming experience in itself. The host was incredibly responsive and kind, personally guiding us up to the house, as the road can be quite tricky. Once you're at the villa, you're somewhat isolated, so make sure to bring plenty of food, drinks, and anything else you may need. Trust me, the peace and beauty are well worth the preparation.

Great host, great location. The view is amazing. The house is accessed via a steep dirt road. We parked our car at the host's house and he took us up the hill in his jeep.

What a perfect paradise this is! We stayed for 3 nights and it was perfect. It is a beautiful, charming old house in a lushes garden with the most stunning view you can imagine. The beds where very comfortable, the shower is good, the kitchen has everything you need to cook dinner during your stay and the pool is perfectly cool for a nice dip during hot summer days. Slave is the best host: super friendly and helpfull! Would absolutely recommend to come and stay.
