The staff was amazing and helpful. They were great to visit with and were more than willing to share the history of the hotel. The remodel is very nice. Legends has amazing food. We ate supper there many times before staying at the Franklin, but the breakfast was superior. The rumchatta French toast was awesome and the legends omelet was delicious too. My husband and I shared them and had to take home enough for another meal. Wild Bill looked very lonely sitting in that corner by himself.... But we took pictures and visited with him.... It was kinda a one sided conversation 😁

The beautiful decor of this Historic Hotel was amazing throughout it entirely. Staff was amazing right from the front steps to your room. I was so happy as well how quiet it was in the rooms! Perfect! Only place I will stay in Deadwood from now on! 😊

“Charged twice not happy”
No breakfast great location double charged me and so far 2 x phone calls have been told call back speak to manager who has not been available rather time

“If I ever travel to this region again, this is the first hotel I would consider.”
I enjoyed staying at a hotel where famous people stayed from 1900-1930. I liked the 11-12 foot high ceilings. One needs to understand that this is a very old hotel, and while its rooms may not give one the same amount of "babying" one would experience at a new high-end hotel, still - this hotel was luxurious enough for President Roosevelt, John Wayne, Babe Ruth, and many other celebrities.

“Was nice except for the afore mentioned front desk people not helpful”
Ok I asked if I could get some milk at night and I was blown off just wanted a glass of milk the desk was short with me and not very friendly for the request and I know the bar has milk too make some drinks with so not satisfied
