The Parkhotel is a charming place to stay with its cottage style art deco villas and pretty garden. Enjoy the tranquillity at only 250 meters from the sea. The bright hotel rooms are comfortable and equipped with free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower. Breakfast is served each morning and provides you with a large selection of organic and regional products. Enjoy your breakfast in the garden when weather is sunny. For lunch and dinner, Parkhotel offers three courses each. The quality ingredients make the meals fresh and full of flavour. Guests need a reservation for the restaurant. If you want to relax, you can sit in the bar or on the veranda with its beautiful garden view. Enjoy the Belgian beers or the fine selection of wines and tea. For children, there is a playground for hours of fun. Cycling trips can be made with bikes rented at the hotel. Make a tour through the dunes and discover the different sea views.

“Filthy hotel. Aggressive rude staff. Noisy fridge in room & no mirror at desk.”
The reception area is extremely dated & uninviting,with visible dust especially on the signage with the cutlery in the hallway area. Overall the hotel does not match the impression given by the photos on booking.com.The garden may be appealing in pictures but for for a short stay its not relevant & the rest of the property does not justify the price. Cleanliness & maintenance were below expectations,dirty windows,mould around fittings & general wear & tear.Room layout was also impractical,with large extremely low lampshades & poorly positioned 'bedside' lamps that were positioned directly behind the head of the bed which made it impossible to sit up without burning yourself on the light or bashing yourself on it. The bar was extremely expensive, over 35 for 4 drinks,2 being a soft drinks. The most serious issue however,was the complete lack of sleep.& although not directly the hotels fault,the lack of customer service was appalling.From 11.30pm to 6.10am,the neighbouring guest snored louder than I have ever heard. It could be heard so clearly,like they were in our room.It was completely impossible to sleep. I attempted to seek assistance by going to reception (their CCTV will confirm) at approx 11.50pm but reception was unmanned all night.There was no phone in the room & no clear way to contact staff.I sent 3 separate messages to the hotel via booking.com at 12.46am,2.48m & 4.22am & took a clear video of the noise we had to put up with at each interval. When raised in the morning,the issue was dismissed by both owners in an extremely defensive & aggressive manner.I was told it was my fault that we had not slept as I had not called them,after explaining that I can't call Belgian numbers.I was shown a small buzzer near to the front door that 'I should have called' but the signage is not in English,so id not have known this.

“Great Hotel”
The breakfast buffet is absolutely delicious and all the food available is ethically sourced. The staff is friendly. The hotel is in a very good location, it's just a short walk away from the beach and there are many stores nearby. The beds are comfortable and the whole hotel is very clean and well-kept.

“Great stay at this hotel with our extended family”
Location near to beach, centre of town and Plopsaland. Lift is very convenient. Large garden is lovely for children and adults alike. Off street parking is a boon. Variety of bedroom sizes is very helpful for large family groups.
