Eirene Place has a great view from the terrace where excellent breakfast was served. The room was spacious with a terrace and well equipped. The hosts were very friendly. The accomodation is very close to Walker Bay Nature Reserve.

Really big, clean and well equipped room. The location is excellent for land based whale watching, we saw loads of Southern Right Whales from the rocks and the breakfast balcony. Excellent choice for breakfast with coffee/tea, juice, fruit, yoghurt, breads, jams, eggs, mushrooms, tomato, beans, sausages, etc.

My sister and I had a wonderdul stay at Eirene's place. Don and Carol were very lovely and kind — their warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. The breakfast was wonderful, one of the best we’ve ever had. Our room was very comfortable and offered a stunning view over the ocean. As a special bonus, we even spotted a baby whale from the veranda — an unforgettable experience! We would love to come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

You can tell that the B&B was designed and is being run by people with good hearts and passion. We felt at home immediately. “Perfect little B&B stay”

Views of the sea from the private balcony off the room, from which we could see the whales. Short walk down to the rocks to get even closer to the whales and the peaceful sea. Wonderful breakfast served up on the high deck with a lovely view. Well stocked kitchen with all you might need for your stay.

“Perfect!”

Carol and Don are perfect hosts and the room was perfect for us. We could see the whales from the balcony! The breakfast was delicious and the view is breathtaking. We're sad to leave, had great time in De Kelders watching the whales so close to the shore, and Eirene place was just perfect. Thank you Don and Carol.
