Overview
Hotel Heritage offers comfortable and spacious guest rooms for your relaxing stay in charming De Haan. The North Sea beach is a 4-minute walk and a tram stop is 150 metres away. Heritage provides you with a homely base along the Belgian coast, with rooms in a cottage style. For a surcharge, you can make use of the swimming pool and sauna which is 3 km away at sister hotel Kapelhoeve. Start every day with a free breakfast buffet and decide to go for a refreshing morning walk along the beach or through the charming town centre. Guests can enjoy a drink in the lounge bar or on the terrace. There is a coastal tram service providing easy connection between De Haan and other seaside cities such as Oostende and Blankenberge. Within 15 minutes you can reach the beautiful cities of Ostend and Bruges.

I booked 3 nights at the Hotel Heritage for my parents. They were very happy about the hotel. Deluxe room with huge windows. The hotel staff was kind. The breakfast was generous and good. Perfectly situated on the beautiful seaside for fresh air, and near Antwerp for tourism.

I stayed at the hotel for the third time (second time this year). While I was happy to overlook some small shortcomings in the past (due to the hotel's excellent location), this time around I was disappointed enough not to come back again. The breakfast is of mediocre quality and limited selection (something I was happy to live with). This time, I got to the breakfast room half an hour before the end of the breakfast time. No one cared to refill the bread basket, the cheese or ham plates (hopefully not too much to expect for the noble price of 160 euros a night). While the rooms are neat and clean, the bathroom could do with more care (the drain in the shower for example). Finding a plastic cup filled with cigarette ends on one's balcony, or looking at old beds placed against the wall in the corridor also does not make one feel exactly like in hotel of this price category. Since no one cared to ask about the stay, I use this forum to do so.

The hotel is good/centrally located. Dining options and eg 2 bike rental shops are nearby. As well as a larger park, with playgrounds and cafe&bistro. The room we had was on the
