“The worst night I have ever spent anywhere except when I was in Afghanistan, but that was a war zone!”
If I am honest, I didn't like a great deal about the property. It looked ok on Booking.com but was unfortunately a terrible experience once we arrived.

We have had a number of wonderful stays here, and this is our go to location during our travels to the Cape. The rooms are pristine, and the staff are incredibly hospitable. Diane is lovely, and accommodating! Would highly recommend the Karoo Country House.

Hot water… genuinely not much to like when you arrive to a room that is a lot smaller than you anticipate based in pictures and it smells of smoke.
