“Disappointing - the rooms are out dated, dark, dingy and musty smelling”

The location was great for the event we attended at the Daytona International Speedway.

Only good thing was location although no footpaths to walk to speedway. Lovely staff on check-in , but a very rude lady on reception at night who made us sit for 20 minutes for a key that wasn’t working at 1 am !!

I had done a tonne of research regarding where to stay as had just flown in from the UK and would have been travelling for circa 13hrs. We picked here based on others' reviews but still was sceptical because you see so many bad ones. This place was such a good find!! Super affordable, very clean, really comfortable bed, substantial breakfast and great location. We used the little gym in the morning, which doesn't have a huge selection of equipment, but in reality you're not coming here just to use the gym, its a nice to have. Staff were friendly, and recommended some local places to eat in the evening, (ample to choose from in under 5mins drive).

So close to speedway

It is impossible for me to review the hotel room I booked because after a long flight from the UK and over an hour in a taxi, we arrived at the hotel to have them claim they couldn’t find my booking, which was fully paid for. The man at reception (who, I’ll say was “unhelpful” at best) then found a booking, then another one (I only booked once via booking.com) and claimed they had been cancelled. They’d taken my money though, approximately $1700. He said they had no rooms other than maybe one for that night. His unhelpful response was to tell me to contact booking.com. His assumed colleague seemed to be giggling into her phone while we were clearly in distress. The only change I’d made was the dates by one day and that was done before they even took the money. After phoning booking.com (who I will separately review) and lots of faffing, they told me it was the hotel’s fault, not theirs. So then, during a massive music festival, we’re stranded with no hotel, out of pocket massively and needing to find somewhere else to stay. We had to pay an additional $1620 for alternative accommodation. We missed the first day of the festival, which was also paid for. On top of this, to add insult to injury, I received messages from booking.com telling me the hotel had “agreed to waive cancellation fees”! What a joke! Since then, I received emails from booking.com telling me the hotel is still waiting for my feedback! Avoid this hotel and the unhelpful staff I met.

Location is very convenient and walking distance from the speedway. Great to attend a festival. The pool was great and refreshing.

Everything ok

The room had a strong smell of mold toilet water overflowing all over the hotel hollway floor in the rooms. I asked the front desk to change my room, and the answer was we were booked. No one bothered to go to the room and send someone to clean the floors and shower. Very disappointed

Massive road noise from I-95. TV didn't work. Maintenance employee to fix TV not very professional. Hotel staff don't answer phone calls from rooms. Only one Front Desk employee to check in customers on Friday Night???

the property is extremely dated, my room wasn't clean and electrical sockets hanging off the wall, my non smoking room smelt of cigarettes and the corridors smelt of urine! the shower was either scalding or freezing! I didn't feel safe in this hotel.

“Good location, nice staff”

Good location to the theme park, nice staff, clean, decent size of the room. The ladies to serve the breakfast always make things tidy and clean.
