“FILTH”

It was the filthiest accommodation I have ever stayed at. Insects & spiders littered the walls, floor & kitchen bench top. Cobwebs everywhere. Ants, millipedes, bullants!! Yes! Bullants. I had to clean it up. Filthy cushions on couch, stained cream carpet. Broken upright on staircase balustrade causing a safety hazard & oh&s issue. Unwashed plates & cutlery, an absolutely disgusting growth floating in the electric jug(see photo in sink), I can't imagine how long it had been there. It made what was supposed to be my holiday incredibly unpleasant. No sugar, towelling, tissues, garbage bags or kitchen hand soap. I paid $1945.00 in good faith for 5 nights accommodation!! A complete rip off. I could only attach 4 photos. I have plenty more.

I wish I could give a 11 rating for location! Amazing access to the lake and a short walk or drive to the main strip. The huge open windows let in great lighting making this small cabin feel open to nature. It’s a cozily appointed cottage with a homey feel, especially with a wood fireplace. The gardens are excellent and our small pup loved sniffing around the small pond. Very comfortable bed and a great bathroom with everything you need. Can’t wait to go back again.

“Pet friendly in picturesque location”

The location was fantastic with direct access to the lakeside walking path and just a short 10–15 minute stroll into town at a relaxed pace. We stayed for two nights with our little sausage dog, who loved curling up by the fire just as much as we did. The views from the apartment were stunning, even in the middle of winter! The accommodation offered great value for money compared to other options in this incredible area. And being able to bring our dog was an absolute bonus! The views exceeded expectations and you could really take it in from all areas of the apartment.

A beautifu,l dog friendly villa, sitting right next to Daylesford Lake. Great views. Comfy fire. Bed was super comfortable. Great communication between myself and host when needed. Highly recommend 👌

Fantastic location right on the lake with direct private access to the walking paths. Very dog friendly, with a secure backyard and dog washing facilities right at the back gate. Beautifully decorated and stocked up with everything you might need.

We absolutely loved our stay at this lake view villa in Daylesford! The place was clean, comfortable, and had incredible views of the lake – it was so relaxing just looking out over the water. One of the best parts was the location – there was a private walkway leading straight to the lake, which made it so easy to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Plus, it was just a 10-minute walk into town, so we could easily get to cafes, shops, and restaurants.
