The way the administration of this hotel did is very terrible and dishonest!!! I made a reservation in this department as a gift for my husband's birthday, But when we arrived to check into the hotel, we were told that they had no vacancies for us!!! No one notified me about it!!! And earlier I received a booking confirmation by e-mail!!! There is no excuse for their rudeness and act!!! I never want to deal with this dishonest hotel again and I don't recommend it to anyone !!!

The Police came when I was robbed. The Location was in a bad area. I was jumped Saturday night walking back from the Wedding at the Black Hawk Hotel. It looks nice enough and people were out, and the police came, but still, you should have warnings. It was so close you would not call an uber but two punks ran up behind my husband and me and grabbed my purse. Being from Chicago, we ran after them. They got into a car and drove off. This was in Davenport Iowa at midnight. The policeman who took the report was Officer Marks. They did notify the hotel and we had new hotel cards for our room. We did tell them where the phone was thru tracking. They got my phone, cash, $37.00, I.D., and the purse that was beaded and was my grandma's that my mom gave me. The next day, we found the phone on our own thru a tracking device my daughter has on my phone.

Very nice location, friendly staff, trying to solve your problem. Nice breakfast and atmosphere.

we liked everything especially the lady who worked in the bar she was very friendly and could not do enough for us, she made our visit very pleasant indeed a very homely lady please pass our thanks to her.

My husband, infant and I had a lovely stay at the Doubletree. The lobby is beautifully presented and the rooms and comfortable and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is very centrally located (walking distance to many bars and restaurants, and often live music) but much more affordable than some of the surrounding hotels. I’m not sure why there have been quite a few bad reviews - it was a perfectly nice stay. We didn’t have the breakfast. There is also free parking.
