“This was a pure delight and a blessing ! We recommend it !”

Our stay here was a pure delight and a blessing ! Me and my future wife spent 6 days here at the end of the May 2025, and we had a very pleasant surprise to be warmly welcomed here. We took a shot in the dark with this one, we just needed a remote place on Samal Island to spend a few quiet days and a hub from where to explore this amazing island, and we found more than we bargained for ! The hosts were very kind and helpful, the room had everything we needed, the food was absolutely delicious, the prices were low and affordable, we could swim in the ocean right there and it was my first time swimming in the Pacific Ocean and I got to see my first corals and blue starfish ! The host put us in contact with local ride before we got there so it was easy and cheap to get from Babak ferry to their place. Furthermore, when I wanted to rent a motorbike the host put me in contact with local dealer that provided us with a good bike for a good price and we had the chance to explore the entire island and visit the landmarks in a fashionable way, the only way to do it right on Samal :) This was a perfect stay for us, cozy and felt like home, so we thank our hosts for this lovely opportunity and we recommend this place for privacy, location with private beach and terrace overviewing the ocean, good food and warmth of hosts! We hope to return here in the future !

Jem was the best! She took very good care of me in the short time I spent on Samal Island and encouraged me to try many activities. Had a great time snorkelling (sooo many corals and fishes!) and kayaking too. Also a great cook and gave many good recommendations for things to do at Samal Island. As someone who has never stepped foot on Philippines / Samal Island, I also appreciate the very detailed explanation that was given on how to get from Davao Airport to the resort prior to the trip.

“A Wonderfully inclusive experience”

Located about 25 minutes from town along a somewhat undulating road arrived at this lovely little retreat. Lyn the manager went above and beyond what is expected. A great spot for relaxing on the waterfront overlooking the coral beach . Kayak and Motorbike hire was a bonus . A hidden Gem on Samal Island

Off the tourist trail best staffs and Gemlyn is the best cook there's a coral reef on the doorstep literally and a basketball court 10m from the property beautiful sunrises also

Awesome staff and owner, ideal for chill, relax and rest, so good and fresh foods, not over price, nice corals for snorkeling, what should you expect more?

Good short stay accommodation. Friendly helpful staff; location good for relative quiet away from urban areas and good for snorkelling right behind the house. Dishes cooked by staff on the premises were of good quality, though limited. Air-conditioning and appliances, sockets, worked well. Good variety of coral and fish, other underwater critters to see, easy to access right on the premises. Owner is building another larger holiday stay home very close by with more guest rooms; looking forward to seeing that completed.
