This family-run guest house lies in the quiet village of Gemünden, in the forested Vulkaneifel region. Auszeit am Eifelsteig is situated near the Gemündener Maar lake and the spa park, 2 km from the town of Daun. Although we booked the room including breakfast, the manager charged us the full breakfast rate upon our departure. When we objected he told us to complain at booking.com. After some discussion we left without paying for the breakfast.

Clean little room, area great to start hiking, quit area, nice little balcony, fridge in hall with cool drinks, everything was available. Supermarket close by but too far to walk. Restaurant around 400 meters walk. Watercooker and coffee in the room.

“For the price I paid it was amazing”
The view was great and this little town was amazing! It was easy to find and the host was really friendly and welcoming. The roads around the hotel where really fun to ride on my bike! And actually pretty close to the nürburgring

“Was only there for one night and was ok lovely views nice and quiet but a bit dated but clean”
It was clean had everything we needed for one night a little bit dated though
