The food is also amazing and the prices are reasonable for the quality of the accommodation. All of the staff are fantastic and really go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. We loved this hotel, King Suite with private pool was the best room during our 3-week stay in Philippines (and we stayed in 7 hotels). Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, they also rescued a broad selection of animals, including a pearl-white Sky and cuddle-loving cat, who was entering our room and asking for cuddles. The location is 10/10 – with no effort, we managed to do a one-day Bohol trip on a motorbike, which included all key attractions. It takes about 20-25 minutes to reach Alona beach from here, although after being there I don't know why anyone would want to do that. The object is new and it is finished in a designer style, a very boutique form, extremely rare in Philippines. Food and drinks were exceptional as well (you have unlimited supply of water, which is always a plus with Bohol temperatures). It is a perfect hotel, even though it comes with a high price tag. We have never returned to the same place - but now we have a strong pretendent to change this.

One of the best places I’ve stayed in terms of service. I can’t even single out any particular staff as everyone we spoke with here are extremely friendly, very welcoming, and wonderfully friendly. We stayed in the room called St Tropez, which is their newest room. It may be smaller than the others but it didn’t disappoint. Floor to ceiling windows give you an epic view over the water, which was particularly lovely of an afternoon. The pool was large enough to cool off in. Shower was one of the best I’ve had in Asia, great pressure and temperature control. A little way from shops and restaurants, but you can easily arrange a scooter, tuk tuk, driver or grab to get places. Alona Beach was only 15 minutes by scooter. Can’t recommend this place enough. We ate at their restaurant for most meals and each was fantastic. We arranged a few day trips with them also which were amazing. English is widely understood by staff and their use of WhatsApp makes getting in contact very easy. A word for those that don’t like cats or dogs; this may not be the place for you. They have many animals here that roam the grounds. They are all very friendly and love a good pat, but if you are allergic or don’t like animals, then you may not enjoy seeing them around the grounds. We loved meeting all the animals and staff, returning each day was like coming home. We will be back. Thank you everyone for an amazing stay! You’ve set the bar very high for the rest of our trip.

“this is what a luxury hotel should be”

This was hands down the best value-for-money hotel of my entire trip in the Philippines. I absolutely do not regret staying here. In fact, I liked it so much that I even changed my itinerary to come back again later during the trip. The staff is absolutely amazing, always kind, helpful, and genuinely caring. The owners clearly have very big hearts, and I was especially touched to see how much they help the animals on the island. It is such a pleasure to see animals finally being treated with kindness and respect. The private pool in the room is just great, and the room layout is extremely well thought out. Everything feels comfortable, practical, and nicely designed. The dishes at the restaurant were also excellent, and the team was incredibly responsive on WhatsApp, which made everything very easy and smooth. The only small downside, and honestly the only thing I found very unfortunate, is the breakfast setup regarding drinks. They do not offer fresh fruit juice such as pineapple or mango, and on top of that, you cannot order both a fresh juice and a coffee. Considering that a coffee costs almost nothing, this feels a bit unnecessary. They could easily increase the room rate by €1 and absorb that cost. It is a small detail, but still a real shame compared with how great everything else is. That being said, this is really a very minor issue, and objectively, out of all the luxury hotels I stayed at in the Philippines, this is the only one that truly deserves to be called a luxury hotel.

After traveling to so many countries, I have never been so compelled to leave a review for a hotel. Situated right on the Bohol Sea, overlooking a beautiful rocky shore and seagrass beds, it offers a peaceful escape away from the hustle and bustle. The views from both the room and the restaurant above are absolutely breathtaking. The service is beyond perfect, and the food served at the restaurant is simply amazing. If you plan to stay here, I highly recommend booking a room with a private pool so you can enjoy the spectacular sunrise and have breakfast in the pool. The only minor downside is that transportation isn't the most convenient, as Grab isn't always available. However, the front desk is more than happy to call a tricycle for you. I strongly suggest staying here for at least two nights without booking any outside activities—just purely enjoy the room, the food, and the serene atmosphere during your whole stay.

“Perfect spot to relax on a romantic getaway especially for animal lovers”

Was the perfect place to relax after 24 hours of travel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, they set us up with a tour and took care of everything. The view is gorgeous, with beautiful sunrises. The best part about our stay was getting to meet all of the rescued dogs that are kept safe at a shelter nearby. Thank you to Luche (the owner) who was so willing to chat and help us potentially adopt one of the dogs. We think about him everyday. Your place is beautiful and we highly recommend it.

“Perfect honeymoon stay”

We stayed here for a part of our honeymoon and it was amazing. The staff were exceptional, so friendly, polite and professional, always going above and beyond. The hotel is beautiful and very peaceful. We had a room with a private infinity pool and the view was incredible, especially watching the sunrise in bed. The food in the restaurant was really good. We also loved that they care for the cats and dogs around the property. When we were leaving they even gave us some delicious biscuits for the journey, which was such a thoughtful touch.

This hotel has managed to create a sense of welcoming, wellness and fulfilling of wishes which is very hard to find anywhere else in the world. The room is very comfortable and super spacious, with perfectly working aircon, amazing walk-in shower, and a great atmosphere. The outdoor area with the pool and the amazing view is hard to beat. The restaurant has a wide selection and does not get boring even after a few days staying here - for breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner. The possibility to eat in the room or in the restaurant caters for every opportunity. But what gives this place its positive and welcoming spirit is the staff. Every single one working there was unbelievably friendly, welcoming and smiley. They were super helpful and especially quick, no matter what question, wish or problem we had. Everyone was always happy to chat, took his or her time without rushing or having things to do, recommended a lot to us and made sure all the time, that our stay is the best it can be. We are coming from a country, where customer service is not very high on the priority list, so we are always happy when we go to other countries, where the customer service is important and staff take it seriously. But epic suites truly put customer service on a whole new level of friendliness, feeling like home and having the opportunity to ask for whatever we needed without feeling needy. You have created a beautiful place to fully relax.
