This was challanging- we booked 3 rooms: -the traditional double room, no complaints, apart from these are located right next to shared bathroom and toilet. Corresponds to photos and gives away a romantic philipino vacation vibe - standard villa, outstanding, all new, spacious, very much worth the money - and then comes the Lux double room with queens bed. We didn’t got the catch here, as room was a second away to fall apart. Air conditioner flooding the wall and floor next to the only electricity plug in the room, it was not even safe to use it. Extremelly worn out furniture, half demolished walls, batroom, where every single piece barely holds to the wall. It was seldomly decorated barn. We did’t stay there our full booking time as it was too horrible.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They catered to our breakfast preferences. The property is well maintained. Both the interior of the rooms and the general ambiance is very peaceful and relaxing. The pool was clean. Amazing value for money.

Amazing value for money lovely property and garden. In a quieter location which suited my needs but still great food spots within a 15 minute walk. The rooms were very comfortable and breakfast of toast, eggs and mango was delicious, staff were also very friendly

Green & quiet environment which is very nice to relax. Outside showers and rooms were clean. Helpful staff to organize day trips with Tuk Tuk to see the must-see of the islands.

Not as inviting as the photos suggest. Far from any restaurants, with no on-site options. Extremely difficult access When wet, the site is almost inaccessible.

We had a wonderful stay at Bohol Island Homestay and can truly recommend it. Everyone was very kind and welcoming, and the breakfasts were perfect — delicious and a great start to the day. A special thanks to Gina, who helped us so much with everything. She organized our tours and all transfers (including longer trips), and communication was always smooth, friendly, and reliable. She really made our trip easier and stress-free. Overall, a great place to stay in Bohol — we would happily come back!

Comfortable stay in a very beautiful place. With a scooter, you are quite close to the center of Panglao, about 10–15 minutes away. I highly recommend it.
