Friendly staff especially the dive instructors. They have a restaurant and a common area where you can work comfortably if you work remotely. They have a house reef and is close to other diving spots. We did an open water course and visited 3 different diving spots in 3 days. Food is delicious.

“Lovely place to stay”
Loved staying here, collected at port by tuk tuk driver, staff were very friendly, start to finish. The dorm room was comfortable, with comfy beds. Excellent food. Did my advance diving certificate here. Professional and excellent sites.

We spent the first days in the Philippines at La Tortue, and couldn’t imagine a better way to start. All staff were so welcoming, service was amazing and so attentive to your needs. We enjoyed all of our dives and guides were professional, helpful and fun! Especially the Apo trip was a highlight. Thanks for everything 🐢

“Dive retreat”
Beautiful location in a quiet street off the main dauin centre. Staff were so kind, verry attentive dive masters always there to help arrange dives (Glen was a fab guide) and the chefs are very talented. We stayed one night in the ocean room and then 3 in the dorm as it was full over Christmas time. Both were great, beautiful traditional wood cabins. Everything was verry clean and organized.

“Great vibes for divers enthusiasts !”
Very welcoming and friendly staff and location straight on the beach for an easy access to the beautiful snorkeling spot. The cottages are very cute and the bed is comfortable. The staff is passionate about diving, we took a day trip to Apo Island and loved it.

“Super friendly staff at a great diving location”
Super friendly staff with experienced (French) diving teacher. The riffs and the diving/snorkeling is amazing here. I can definitely recommend to come to this place for diving but also to explore the surrounding. Dauin is not crowed at all and seems like a hidden gem.

“Great, value-for-money divers' paradise!”
The food was great, as were the clean bathroom facilities. It was also great staying at a working dive site, and being so close to the beautiful Dauin shore.

Very beautiful place right by the beach! The staff is very welcoming, friendly and try to help you with whatever you need. Snorkeling right in front of your door is incredible and I also enjoyed diving with my instructor. The hut with 4 beds, was equipped with towel, mosquito nets, lamps and fans for each bed. I really enjoyed my stay! Thank you for everything and see you next time :)

Essentially an upmarket backpackers with a really good vibe. Top class dive centre on site and a good restaurant with decent European & Filipino dishes. Accommodation is right on the beachfront and although the site is pretty small, it is comfortable. Clientele are mainly foreign, with plenty of locals using the facilities on weekends, always a good sign.

I loved the staff and my experience for my certification of open water, Maura, the teacher was the best. The crowd is 90% French so just so you know! I met great people and food was good (you can find cheaper elsewhere but still very varied and fresh). 100% happy with my stay at La Tortue!

“Great place to go diving, would recommend!”
The staff is great, it has a little bar that serves basic food and it was all very good. The cocktails are also nice. Great place to go scuba diving.
