“Natural stay”

The building itself is very nice to be in, made with natural material in a traditional way it lets in fresh air and morning light sun. The staff is very friendly and kind, the commons areas are cozy. I went walking to the hotsprings not far and was like paradise there.

Great location within a 5-10 minute walk to the beach/diving/snorkelling/restaurants. Great price Free drinking water (hot and cold), fridge to store food and a kitchen to cook. The outdoor hangout space is really nice. The staff and friendly and kind. Good WiFi

I liked the low price, I was just staying over because I needed to travel further on the next day. I also liked that they provide you with a towel.

Basic privacy for an affordable price

It is good because it is near the higway. 3 minutes going to the beach.

We are happy with everything. Cha-cha is very nice, and her husband is a great singer 😆 there is everything you need for life for a very low price. There is a kitchen and recreation areas. The house is very beautiful. the room was small, but we only slept there, there is a lot of space on the territory for spending time.

Great for backpackers/short stay and a good cheaper option to stay walking distance from Dauin centre and the beach. Staff is really lovely and accommodating. The space is nice and fairly clean with a small kitchen and showers and an outdoor garden area Good if you like cats :)

The location was great to access the beach and diving. Great snorkling as well. Nice style accomodation simple and confortable. The hostess was smily and helpfull. Perfect for us, had a very good stay.

“Incredibly unique”

This guest house is set back from the main road and as such it is close to public transport (jeepneys or tuk-tuks etc). The main dormitory is upstairs on the third floor (access via a cane log ladder). The main dormitory is open air style. Thatched roof. Comfy mattresses on the floor. Pillows, sheet and towel provided. The private rooms are on the ground level. (Four rooms varying in rate and comfort). The private rooms are solid rooms, budget motel style. There is a small light bulbs above each of the beds and some have spare sockets for your use to charge phones etc or to plug in a pedestal fan. (The fans are supplied). There are two toilet/shower cubicles. Both with cool running water for you to use, both are on the ground floor. They do not supply toilet paper, soap or shampoo. The caretaker is happy for you to borrow utensils from their kitchen to make a meal but they do not supply and tea or coffee etc. There is one common dining table with chairs. The backyard has a few chairs and was housing several prize cockerels while we were there. Apparently rhe local cock fighting ring is also not too far from the hostel but I did not want to see that. There is a plunge pool, however it is empty. Location: half an hour from Dumagette by jeepney. Ten minute walk from the beach.
