“Good value for quiet and peace”

I booked a room with private bathroom. There was 1 queen and 1 single bed with pillows which were very comfortable. After a long journey it was well needed. I dozed off at 830pm which was really rare. Right next to the beach. Nice veranda to just laze around. Hammock provided. Aircon was good. Surrounding peaceful and clean.

The staff were like family. We will miss them. A magical snorkel reef just out front. Hang out in front of the kitchen and socialize with the other guests. Totally quiet by nine. The Apo boat trip is more geared towards divers. For snorkeling, i'd give it a miss.9

I LOVED staying at Aivy Maes!! The staff were absolutely wonderful, helping me organise transfers, scooter rental, and creating a custom dive schedule to suit my interests (muck and night diving)! More importantly I felt like one of the family, being invited to share dinner and drinks with the team. Also, the dive centre is among the most professional and well run places I've ever been (and I'm an I instructor)! Special shout out to my dive guide, the eagle eyed JM. But also huge love for Annie Mae, Lochlain, Mike, Mark and everyone at Aivy Maes.

Great staff. Very accommodated and helpful. Air-conditioning room was amazing. Dive instructor was very professional and safety concerned. All meals we had at the resort and on board while driving was delicious. House reefs were just a walk of the shore. Great snorkeling and diving. We went to Apo diving.

It was close to the marine sanctuary and excellent for snorkelling. We stayed in one of the two units with ac and its own bathroom. Although the water pressure was very low for the first few days. The bed was comfy, and ac was quiet and very efficient. We were able to rent scooters through the property. The unit was very good value for money compared to their bamboo huts with shared bathroom where our friends stayed. Diving with them was great for a good price, according to my husband. The snorkelling trip to Apo Island was good, too. Loved the hammock outside our unit. 1-2 restaurants in walking distance, especially" Le jardin" for dinner, but for more choice in restaurants, it is better to rent a scooter. Can highly recommend "the Lokal".

The location is perfect. They have a private beach just in front of the rooms. It is a very peaceful place. The staff is very nice and kind :) They offer also instant coffe for free that is a plus
