Hiking routes are well kept, easy to follow and well marked and mapped, beautiful well kept gardens.

Love the simplicity of Mount Park and really enjoy being there because it is private and peaceful. Great showers! Favourite is Whispering Waters - comfortable beds & pillows and great shower / water pressure.

“Great stay in the Midlands”

We were a party of 6 adults who stayed 3 nights in the safari tents and 2 of us in the deluxe double room on the last night. It's a lovely property with lots of activities - we didn't get to do much because of the weather but still managed to go to the peak which is a nice hike (took us 3 hours to go up the Hyrax Trail and down the Contour Path). All of the camping spots or various accommodation units are very well spaced out and offer a good amount of privacy. There is WiFi in the restaurant (it did not reach to the tents or the double room) and the restaurant has a varied menu including a few vegetarian and vegan options (we didn't eat though). On Friday & Saturday there was free tea, coffee & cake at 3pm which was a nice touch (the jam squares were delish). The two twin safari tents each come with their own dedicated kitchenette within a lockable cupboard which are next to each other in a communal semi-closed lounge area - they are quite well equipped with a small bar fridge, a two plate stove and various cutlery & crockery. There is also a braai which we didn't use. The two twin tents are nicely done with a dresser, towel rack, kitchen unit with a kettle and some glasses and tin cups in the tent as well as chairs/a couch inside and a plastic table and chairs outside. The lighting was good and plug sockets were sufficient. The ablutions were just beyond the kitchen/lounge area and also shared with the campers (there are other ablutions on the property) and they included 2 showers and 3 toilets. The shower was always hot (if temperamental)! They are cleaned daily and well stocked with toilet paper.

Stunning location, friendly staff, they try to please and create a great atmosphere. The gurgling brook next to the cottage was wonderful.

Breakfast and lunch was great we enjoyed Ribs with my little dogs. The staff was so friendly we felt like we home.

I loved the peaceful beauty of the place. The kids enjoyed the fishing , canoeing and hiking as well as feeding the farm animals and playing on the pool tables. The unit itself was clean and neat. We will definately be back.
