“Lovely place with wonderful staff”

Unfortunately, it was raining during our stay but we spent our time in the bar area. There was a fireplace and the most friendly staff. We also forgot to bring food with us, and Lizzy kindly assisted us with that. If it wasn't the rain, we would have had a perfect time! The place is indeed lovely 😍

“Natural retreat and breath of fresh air.”

It is camping with the modern touch. You still get to use electricity while camping. I loved that they have gas stove so we could still cooking during power outages. The kids love the fire. There is a fire place every corner of the property which is great. It a breath of fresh air with amazing play facilities for the kids and a very clean pool. The owners are amazing, pay attention to their guest, they really went an extra mile. Place is as is in pictures. Also they have an amazing wedding venue.

“Family Weekend away”

We enjoyed the serenity of the location and the comfort of the Family Tent. We stayed in the 6 sleeper. It is beautifully set up with the most gorgeous antics. Rayne is a fantastic host. Friendly and helpful. The tent was clean and properly equipped with bedding and towels.

The owner is friendly and welcoming. The entire lodge is clean, peaceful and safe. Our kids really enjoyed the kids play area, while we relaxed and enjoyed the magnificent views and serenity.

The best thing by far was the generosity and friendliness of our hosts. They went above and beyond to make it a happy and comfortable stay for us. It is a beautiful setting, with beautiful views over the rolling hills of the midlands, nice day-walks and simple yet comfortable cabins and communal area. We would come back in a heart beat.

Everything about our stay was exceptional, the owners of the place took really good care of us and made sure we wasn't short of anything , a big thank you to reigna for making sure we had everything that was needed, my family and I felt really welcomed and enjoyed our stay its a perfect place for family bonding ...

I was not informed before arrival it was under new management and most of the on site facilities were not available - spaza shop, restaurant and spa which were part of the reason for booking there but it didn't negatively impact on our stay.

We were greeted by such friendly staff that welcomed us. Our cabin was beautiful. It was equipped with everything we needed with a gorgeous view. Each cabin are far apart so you get your privacy. The staff was ever ready in helping and assisting us. All in all I absolutely enjoyed my stay and I will definitely visit with my family again. Dargle Forest lodge is not just a stay away... It's a new family you inherit with your stay.
