We loved our 1 night stay at the Runaway. Roy was such a lovely host who gave us a warm welcome and introduced us to everything in the apartment. The accommodation was quiet, impeccably clean, had a comfy bed, quality linens and lots of little extras to make us feel at home. Location is great, right in the middle of town so can walk to everything.

Our Booking was at the last minute when we were already in Dargaville, Roy was there promptly to check us in. The property did not disappoint and we felt lucky to have secured the night there with such short notice.

“Super- clean and well-designed apartment”
The apartment was super clean and Roy gave us a warm welcome. A really well-equipped apartment, with lots of little extras. We were staying in Dargaville as a stop-off, before heading to Matakana. Had a lovely meal at the hotel across the road - the Northern Wairoa Hotel. The lamb shank was delicious! The bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing.

Roy was absolutely lovely and super understanding with our late check-in, even taking the time to show us through the apartment. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Awesome location right in the township. Would happily stay again 👍

Location here was right in the middle of town. 30 min drive to Kai Iwi Lakes, beautiful beaches along the West Coast. Clean, comfortable rooms with the best shower pressure! Wonderful friendly service from Roy.
