“Worth a stay. And if the sun could be guaranteed we would be back!”

Location was great for us. The reception area, bar and restaurant were great. Pizza was really tasty. The cabin had heating which was good as it was rainy and cold on our stay. The staff were all very friendly. Especially Armand who was attentive and helpful.

I wouldn't stay here again as we haven't had a TV since we arrived. I warned reception several times and they said there was nothing they could do. I would like to have a working TV since the service is included and I paid for it, and I had 3 children. There is a cushion that needs to be changed The cabin is very hot, I needed to buy a fan Need to clean the cobwebs off the cabin ceiling

The chalet was clean with great surroundings. Comfortable beds and all the facilities we needed.

We needed a 2 night accommodation unexpected as we had car trouble en route to south france, this campsite was a great option for us as it provided a pool, outdoor space on the decking & on a bus route to central lyon

We faced only one issue and that was the wifi connection

Location was great for commuting through city and for sight seeing. Had an outdoor pool. Washing facilities were available.

The swimming pool is open until 20:00, so it gaves you enough time to cool down after a long journey. Also the showers are clean and new, with small dry area to change clothes. Also the vicinity to a big shopping mall is a plus. Park places close to each cabin.

Nothing. Difficult to find as the address on website corresponded to a main road on our satnav. After a 7 hour drive this wasn’t appreciated. Eventually saw a small road sign saying ‘camping Lyon’ and followed that in the hope that it might indeed be ‘CityKamp Lyon’ which it was - would be helpful if they clarified name of accommodation on signage. It’s in a built up business estate with three hotels close. Reception experience was poor. Despite being bombarded before arrival with emails asking me to check in online which I didnt / hadn’t, the person on reception just asked me for my name. They did not check any ID which I find poor security. Lack of security continues throughout the site. There is a barrier with code for cars, but none for people. Literally anyone could walk/cycle onto camp at anytime. Two bedroom cabin is absolutely tiny. Unable to leave windows open due to both the lack of security and the fact that there are no bug / mosquito nets on windows. Not particularly clean, absolutely tiny accommodation including a ‘double’ bed that wasn’t even big enough for one tall male. The whole cabin feels flimsy and cheap. Curtain rail looked like it had been previously broken and ‘mended’ so it wasn’t even straight. The floor was covered in dents. I have photos and videos to prove. Thin cheap greying towels. Plastic feeling mattress covers. Oh and having to make the bed up ourselves for the price they charge is another joke. ‘Snack bar’ was pizza only… ‘shop’ was a basically a table with a few condiments on it. Rude and ignorant staff in ‘snack bar’. Can’t comment on ‘pizza’ or drinks as after being ignored by server we decided not to bother and went to hotel next door. Absolute joke for the price. Not four star. Seriously how can they even think for one minute that this is four star accommodation?! Laughable Cabins are in ‘avenues’ with very little room between. We were overlooked from every angle. You also have to park your car away from the cabin.
