“Grandkids visiting grandparents experience in Albania.”

It was a super cute and clean apartment. Upon our arrival we had some issues finding the location so beware! But afterwards the daughter greated us and the grandfather helped us park our car. The house is next to the home of grandparents who do not speak any English but are really friendly and they will offer to cook dinner and breakfast (consider accepting, their pie was really good)! The apartment itself was decorated with carpets everywhere and had everything you could want and the bed was very comfortable.

Amazing room with everything you need and more. Great dinner, fantastic owners. Fantastic view.

Amazing stay, The lodge exceeded our expectations. The hosts were very welcoming. We couldn't have chosen a better place to spend our days. We would definitely recommend it to everyone looking to spend some days in the beautiful village of Dardhe.

This is a very special and very unique little cottage, complete with private terrace, log burner and really friendly owners.

First of all, I would like to mention that the communication with Constanza, the landlord's daughter, could not be better. She was always available and answered immediately. She has helped communicate with her parents who do not speak English. On request you can get breakfast and dinner. They cooked vegetarian Albanian for us- it was great! Definitely try the pie. Constanza's parents are wonderful. They are helpful, hard working, caring and kind. It was a great experience staying in a traditional house in the mountains. All in all great hosts, great accomodation in a great location. Many thanks to Constanza and her parents for the wonderful time in Dardhe

“Perfect stay in a small mountain village”

Perfect place to have a few relaxing days in the mountains. We loved the view and the quietness. The fireplace is amazing and cosy. You can book breakfast and delicious dinner and eat it on the terrace or inside. You could also make your own food in the kitchen. The communication is easy with the daughter on the phone who speaks good English. During the day you can visit the village, go hiking and relax. Definitely a recommendation!

The location, the clean and the people

Room was on the same yard with the house of owners, but on the opposite direction and with a separate door which entered in your private front yard-balcony and room. Traditional style with all facilities and a great fire that made the ambient so warm and cozy. The view from the glass door when you wake up and the view in front of the balcony was amazing even in the middle of november, imagine 2 weeks earlier where all the hill in front was covered in yellow and red leaves, between the fir trees that are always green. Like a beautiful natural mosaic! The food cooked by the owner was delicious too! Don't forget to try the jams with local fruits done by her husband who was an expert in food preserving techniques during communism. Unfortunately they didn't sell, but I will go back to learn the technique :D Lovely experience!
