Situated in the middle of Belize’s largest marine protected area, home to hundreds of species of fish and coral, it is the perfect place for marine exploration right from our beach. It’s also a stone’s throw away from our sister island, Carrie Bow Caye. Pelican Beach Resorts makes up three and a half acres of South Water Caye, which feels like an entirely new world through snorkelling, island hopping and uninterrupted relaxation. “A lovely resort in a stunning location”
Tessie and her staff went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, despite the awful weather! They were very accommodating regarding meals and happy to make changes to the set menus where possible. When the internet went down and we needed to confirm our onward travel plans Tessie was happy to help. The resort is set on a tiny island so when the rain started and our plans for snorkelling and boat trips were cancelled we were glad to have access to lots of books and board games to keep us occupied. The homemade biscuits were a great treat in the afternoon and the food was generally very good.
