We loved hobbit village. It’s kind of glamming. You get a lovely room, shared showers/loos. The view is amazing. Yusuf and Ahmed were friendly and caring hosts. The food (dinner and breakfast) was delicious- we ate in the boys’ office cabin/lounge with wood stove and fantastic sunset view. There is a great walk (flat) if you turn left out of camp - a clear trail takes you to the head of the valley where you get very far reaching views down the wadi. Will definitely come again to do one of the much longer treks. Thoroughly recommended. The camp dogs are lovely too and no bother.

“Good value for money and great atmosphere!”

Youssef and Cesar are great guys who built the Hobbit Village and do everything to make you feel welcome. The food that was cooked by their mother was tasty. And they arranged a fun hike with guide Ahmed, whom we can heartily recommend. Even though he does not speak English very well, all explanations and stories via Google Translate were easy to understand. Like he said, language is not important.

Very calm and nice stay! Very nice and available staff and the food was great. They helped us find a guide (Ahmed) on very short notice. Ahmed was also very nice and took us on a very cool adventure!

Boy that runs the place is very friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience extra special. The location is easy to find, and the rooms have a very cozy touch. It’s also nice to have dinner by the bonfire and the breakfast is really good.

The Hobbit Village is such a beautiful place! The rooms are very nice and clean, the garden is beautiful and the views stunning! Youssef is a very nice, friendly and helpful host. He helped us organise a taxi back from the Wadi Dana trail. We were driven back by Ahmed, a very funny and entertaining driver. The meals were cooked by Youssef's mum and were to die for! If you're coming to Dana, I definitely recommend this place.

Overally good choice for the cost. Host: Yousef, his brothers and friend - Fluent English communication - Warmhearted, polite Surrounding view - Located at middle of the valley so you can expect large scale of great views, greener landscape than other terrain of Jordan, here is the rare place you can hear the stream sound in this country Flexibility - You can bring your own food, and cook or ask for meal dish (Lunch/Dinner 8JD per person, Breakfast 4JD) - Nice view, hiking and trekking trail Electricity & heating - Many of hosting place in Dana has no electricity nor heating system (Colder & Darker!), otherwise they are somehow overpriced - Here you can expect warm night even in the middle of winter season (I stayed with 5 and 2 years old kids) Overally, I may say here is the bang for your buck.

Great spot, quiet and isolated with a nice view upon the valley. A unique place, recommended in Dana.

“Lodge cum petting farm!”

I liked the cosy rooms and clean shared bathroom, the garden with fruit trees and nice views, and the home-made Jordanian breakfast and dinner. The premises is also house to a flock of pigeons, ducks, a shy rabbit, an extremely friendly dog and a cat. My daughter loved playing with the animals and was quite upset when leaving the lodge. The lodge is in a secluded location, inaccessible by car (actually about a hundred meters down a trail starting from behind the local mosque)

A very cute place to stay. I can totally recommend to stay some nights in Hobbit village when you visit Dana Biosphere reserve. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the owners are amazing. We spent some nice night at the fireplace talking and lost in translation.

“Rustic and authentic stay in the heart of natural beauty”

A really special place with friendly staff and in the heart of the Dana biosphere. We loved the coffee and tea provided and enjoyed a yummy authentic Jordanian supper cooked by the lady of the house. We enjoyed a nice walk for sunset and explored the area.

We had the best stay at Hobbit Village - it was our favourite place we stayed in Jordan. Yusuf and his family made us feel so at home, the food and company in the evening were great. The rooms themselves and the village were also really lovely and it was nice being out in nature, only a short walk away from all the people in Dana village. We also has a great hike with Sohaib the next morning which I would also recommend. Thanks and we can't wait to come again!

“Beautiful nature and cultural retreat”

This is a small chill place with 4-5 Hobbit houses. The houses and the toilets/showers are very clean. The kids enjoyed playing with ducks, pigeons, rabbit, cat, dog. excellent place to enjoy the nature and hit the hiking trails nearby.
