Set on the edge of the mountain town of Dana - Dana Sunset Eco Camp offers a wonderfully remote experience away from all the main tourist routes in Southern Jordan. Provisions are simple and that’s reflected in the price as it’s incredible value for money - our host was warm welcoming and knowledgeable. We felt as if we were staying with a Jordanian family. I’d recommend ordering dinner there as it’s incredible value for money and a great way to taste the local fare - the Adass soup was lovely - they really went above and beyond with each meal. This is a fantastic spot if you would like to be hosted according to quintessential Jordanian custom - friendly, warm and generous.

Saif is a very good host. We talked about the culture which was interesting. We had a great stay and especially the dinner and breakfast was awesome. You need to come earlier for the excellent sunset view. You need to experience being such a camp.

The staff were very generous and hospitable. The breakfast was amazing, very patient staff that offered us tea as soon as we arrived as welcome drink. The Wifi was great and reached our room. The rooms were very clean, tidy, neat, with soap and tissue paper at the bathroom. The bathroom itself was more than amazing for a camping quality. We enjoyed our conversation with the owner and working team at night, knowing more about Culture and things to do in Jordan. We could have loved to stayed more if our time allowed us.

“Highly recommend, would stay again”

Loved our stay at Dana Sunset Eco camp. Saif is a fantastic host, made us feel very welcome and provided us with good advice on how to make the most of our time in the area around Dana. The dinner and breakfast were both filling and delicious. While Dana can be cold, we were provided with plenty of blankets to stay warm. A highlight of our trip to Jordan was watching the sunset at a viewpoint just 5 minutes walk from the camp. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Saif is an amazing person, and the camp has the most epic view!

I still remember how we solved the placement of fruit and flowering trees in the camp with the owner :) Greetings to my apple house :D I was there with my 12-year-old son, and we enjoyed it a lot. There's a gorgeous view of the sunset behind the camp. The dinner was excellent, and since we set out early in the morning towards Petra, we were given a pre-packed breakfast in a box. Thank you so much, and next time we'll come back with my younger son, who unfortunately had to stay home sick.

The owner Saif is a very polite and helpfull person. He is very interested in his guests without giving too much attention. The diner was very good! And the rooms were big and spacious. The bathroom was clean and of big size.

Absolutely stunning sunset view We had a very welcoming greeting, gave us tea and we felt at home in a moment. They were so friendly, generous with very good food. Way better than we’d expected. Thank you Saif for the nice stay and opportunity to do a beautiful hike!

My wife and I stayed here two different nights, once before the hike through Wadi Dana, and once after doing the Wadi Ghuwayr hike, starting from Feynan. The location is very peaceful and rural, within a short walk in the evening of a beautiful sunset view. The highlights of staying here on the one hand were the interactions with Saif, the owner, who speaks excellent English, and is very knowledgable about the area. We were able to arrange our transportation from the usual starting point of Wadi Ghuwayr hike (our endpoint) through him, for a reasonable price. The second highlight was the cooking; during our stays we had two breakfasts, two dinners and a packed lunch, all prepared by Saif's brother, and all were excellent! We feel like we experienced a real piece of Jordan and local culture by staying here. Parking was easy in our normal standard rental car.

The "tent" was awesome, a lot of space, our own toilets and shower. The location was good, with a nice view after a short walk, a quiet spot. The food was awesome for a little price, and a nice breakfast. The host was very nice too, and gave us tips for what to do around.

Super kind hosts - we were welcomed very well! For the price you really can't beat it. While the rooms are great, the showers are a little less "luxurious", but that is to be expected. Everything was very clean, the hosts super kind, and the food was delish!
