Fantastic property, full of character and charm. Francis was so welcoming, with lots of information about the mill and the local area. We loved exploring the area, Damme was beautiful and our favourite visit was to Zwinn nature reserve. We ate at O Billot restaurant in Sijsele, De Mess and Damme county club, all within walking distance of the mill.

Fabulous property with a very knowledgable owner. Francis greeted us at the property and explained everything. Gave us a map and explained where things were. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and had everything that we needed for a 3 night stay. Close to a bus stop that took us in to Bruges in about 20 minutes. Very nice welcome pack in the fridge on arrival. Good contact from the host. Would highly recommend 👌

The mill was really quite spacious for two, very well equipped and furnished. The personal care and nformation from our host was 1st class.

Such a cute and unique property. Lots of stairs but that was half the fun! We had great support from Francis and he even arranged bikes for us. Our check in with Petra was great and she provided us with heaps of good advice. Highly recommend this place and it had all we needed.

Francis is a fantastic host. He gave us a very warm welcome, lovingly furnished the accommodation and was totally helpful. The location is good, the bus stop is 5 minutes away and from there it is about 25 minutes to Bruges.

Francis was a great host and the windmill was perfect. Damme is a great area and perfect for exploring the Bruges area.

“great stay in authentic old windmill”

This has been a very nice stay at a truly unique place. My teenage boys loved the fact, that this is a real old windmill and they enjoyed climbing the stairs a lot. ... Very friendly owner, who greeted us with a key and explained very well all the appliances etc., but also the surrounding and the best way to go to Bruges ... The kitchen has everything, including 2 different type of coffee machines, microwave, oven etc. ... definitely recommendable !

Everything was beyond perfect. The idea of converting an old windmill into a holiday home was briliant. For someone who enters this place, it's like stepping into a fairy tale. It's so cosy and welcoming. And, above all this magic, it's the host, Francis. He was extremely nice, gave us all the informations about Bruges, Damme and Blankenberge, about a lot of little beautiful places around to visit (most of them not written in the guides). It was an extraordinary weekend for us. Thank you very much Francis for creating this beauty and for sharing it with us. We will surely come back soon

Location superb tranquility 10/10 .. full fledged kitchen .10/10 . you no need to bring anything apart from yourself , Lidl Supermarket . excellent stocked ( closes at 19.00 pm ) in 1.5 km driving distance , Brugge 20 minutes drive , we recommend to use the Site Oud Sint - Jan ... car park .. right in the old town .. in summery , all good
