After 600km in the car, Les Jarriers is an absolute haven of tranquility. The location is amazing - ten minutes from the A10 and you are in the heart of the calm, rural France that is Dame-Marie-Les-Bois. The Gîte itself is set in a beautiful garden. The host, Nicholas is very welcoming and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was excellent, I can tell I had the best "Pain Perdue" I've ever tasted! A fantastic place for a stopover or for a visit to the many famous Chateaux in the area.

“Would love to come back”

Nicholas and his wife made us feel very welcome, despite the last minute booking. The house is beautiful and tastefully furnished. Bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious with french toast and home made jams. This was a stop off for us on the way home but we would like to stay longer next time! Thank you Nicholas for making our journey so much more pleasant and relaxed.

Unfortunately, I arrived late and had to leave early. However, the welcome from Nicolas was incredibly warm and the breakfast on leaving was incredible - fresh bread, cheese, ham etc. a lovely man and a lovely residence.
