We spent three wonderful nights at this charming B&B, using it as our base to explore Amboise and the stunning Loire Valley. Katia and Mark are the kind of hosts who make you feel like you’ve been welcomed into the home of old friends — warm, generous, and genuinely invested in their guests’ experience. When we ran into trouble with our rental car, they went above and beyond to help us, turning what could have been a stressful situation into just another memorable part of our trip. The room was spotlessly clean, thoughtfully equipped, and the surrounding area so peaceful and quiet that we slept better than we had in ages. Each morning, Katia and Mark laid out a superb continental breakfast — generous, fresh, and substantial enough to keep us energised well into the afternoon. If you are looking for an authentic, heartfelt French B&B experience with hosts who truly care, look no further. We left as guests but felt we were saying goodbye to friends. Highly recommended!

“A little gem at a reasonable price .”
We broke our journey from Paris to La Rochelle at Le Clos. Perfect in every way. Mark & Katya are extremely welcoming and hospitable. Room spotless and very comfortable bed. Peaceful nights sleep. Lovely breakfast . Parking on-site. Strongly recommend a visit . Herbie & Myra

“Perfect place to stop off”
Incredibly friendly owners made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Bedroom was very large with access to a kitchen area to prepare a simple dinner. Breakfast the next morning was lovely.

“It was nice and in quiet surroundings. Our hostess Kate was welcoming and friendly.”
It was nice having breakfast outside the house. Our room was spacious and provided with a kettle for tea/coffee. We also had an electric fan which we didn't use because of the noise it made. Anyway, the room had two windows facing each other and so there was good circulation of air at night.

“A touch of class”
One night stop off were very lucky to stumble across this place the hosts are absolutly superb and place lovely would recommend 100% will be back for sure.
