“Wonderful homely stay”

Lovely hosts! Couldn't have asked for a nicer time. We stayed four nights in the end partly because we enjoyed their company so much. Humble accommodation. Big breakfasts as well. Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed, such a kind family.

Lovely homestay with an exceptionally friendly family. I was able to arrange tours to all the major sights with them and they also took me to some lesser known spots. The cooking class was excellent as were all the meals.

I feel like true member of the family not as a guest. Loved the couple running the homestay and their daughter. They are very honest people. I happened to "stuck" in Dambulla for the New Years day without the public transportation, but I was offered by Taraka lift to Sigyria for a more than fair price. He also took me to his wife's family close to Pidarangula and I had lovely meal in their restaurant. Than we went for a bath in a nearby lake. And we finished the night with him and his friend with bottle of whiskey on upper floor balcony. If you want to support honest lovely people and have true experience of Sri Lankan household, go to their place!

A wonderful family owned accomodation in walking distance to the Dambulla Cave Temple. The owners, a young couple, where very helpful and kind. They also took us to Kandy for a reasonable price.

It's a really good family. I had a great time this family. Their food is delicious and reasonably priced. They also have facilities for those who want to join the cooking class. Tharaka and Lakmali are very kind. I had a lot of new experiences. They have a car so they can arrange transportation at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend this place for your vacation.👍👍👍

This is an honest home providing a simple room and bathroom -with a sweet garden and gorgeous dog Blackie .It is owned and run by the loveliest couple -kind generous helpful who could not have done more .a delicious meal was cooked for us -and they were sweet and deserve to do well .if the budget allows indulge in a ayuravedic massage with the place round the corner -it was fantastic !you and also do cookery lessons at the house

The host was so kind. He tooks us to the temple with his tuk tuk. The whole family was amazing and took good care of us even we just booked it for couple ours till visiting Dambulla.

Really friendly family who looked after me well. The husband arranged for transporting me to Pidrungala for sunrise and Golden Temple on the way back in his tuktuk. Got a welcome coffee at check-in the previous night and breakfast after traveling to Pidrungala the next morning. Adorable dog owned by the family (Brownie) and an eager dog belonging to the neighbor (Toffee) also showed up. Great value for money.

Good location. Walking distance to the temple and the caves. Staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. Owner even offered me a tuk ride to the town.many fruit trees in the garden. Quite and calm environment.

Very nice, happy and friendly family. The house is located in a quiet countryside place but near to a Cave Temple, Golden Budda and Dambulla city if you want. We took a cooking class and it was an amazing experience and a tasty dinner :) The owner has a tuktuk, and it is very comfortable to get rides with him.
