The location is hidden at the edge of the forest, cute, comfortable and cozy cabins with a very rustic and unique vibe. Doesn't feel like a hotel chain, more homely. The food is lovely and the owner very positive

The huts where you stay are beautiful from the outside and cozy from the inside. Beautiful location and stunning views. Thushan, the host, is the best ever!! He's so friendly and accommodating, and took us on his motorbike in the morning to go for a swim in the nearby river which was a true highlight of our trip. Brought us a lovely breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening. A 10/10 stay, you have to come and stay here!!

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful place. The little house is very beautiful and creatively built, and we loved sitting outside and watching all the birds in the day and the fireflies at night. The food prepared by Thushan's wife is some of the most delicious food we've eaten in Sri Lanka, and for a very good price. Thushan was a wonderful host, from picking us up and dropping us off at the bus stop on his motorbike, to taking us on an adventure to see the local sights. We loved visiting the nearby temple ruins, and cooling off in the waterfall afterwards. I would highly recommend this place as a stop off between Dambulla and Kandy, or a base to explore the Dambulla region. If you want to get away from the busy tourist areas and experience excellent Sri Lankan hospitality, this is the place!

Probably the best accommodation we have had during our stay in Sri Lanka ! We loved everything about this place! Perfect location to relax (you ll hear the sound of birds on the morning), very cute little house for 2 people, comfortable and well decorated. Good food, and last but not least, an incredible host! “The best!”
The hose Thushan was really helpful and kind. He always made sure that we can have relaxing time in there. He helped us to borrow a tuk-tuk and gave us even a tour. We got to visit local place around. It was not just about place to sleep. It was appreciating the nature, trying homemade local food. The breakfast and dinner (with small extra fee) were amazing. The host does his best to make guests enjoying the place. And the place itself is beautiful. So beautiful…

“Romantic remote escape”
A very remote and romantic location to escape to. We drove a rented tuk tuk there and it was easy to find despite its location. Upon arrival we were greeted and welcomed warmly by the husband and wife who run the property. The food they provide is excellent and it is great to sit outside in the evening to watch the wildlife.

“The most unique experience”
in the middle of the forest, pure nature, there are animals like frogs, monkeys, cows and birds. NAtural hut with no AC, just fans and roof ventilation. Very unique style. Breakfast and hospitality was great

“Magic”
A magical place run by great people. We booked one night here, but we really enjoyed it and stayed here another night. A place surrounded by nature, about 20 minutes from Dambulla. The guys are really helpful, even for a super dinner in the forest or to get to the top of the mountain opposite! A great family <3

“The best stay in Sri Lanka! Wonderful place and people”
We checked into forest lodge and were welcomed with Sri Lankan tea and sweet treats, immediately we felt welcomed! The accommodation was amazing even better than the photos and super clean. We had both dinner and breakfast here and both homemade and delicious. In the morning we were taken on a trek and saw sunrise! Nothing was too much here and we had the best time! Would highly recommend
