“Extraordinary experience!”

Asela and his wife are really nice. They are always helping you giving good information. They have their own tuc tuc and the price Is the less expensive in Dambulla. We had the opportunity to have breakfast and dinner cooked by them. Large quantity of tasty sri Lanka food. We had dinner all the nights here because Asela's wife Is a professional chef. The room Is clean and essential with hot water and Wi-Fi available. If you want to save money at 200meters,crossing the forest (in a really safe path)there is the bus stop for Dambulla and Sigiryia.They have also 3 lovely dogs. I strongly suggest Sigiryia Freedom lodge because you have the best quality at the best price .

Location and near to Sigiriya Value of the money

We stayed one more night here because it was so peaceful and close to both Sigiriya and Dambulla. The host is so helpful and talented, he built the lodge himself, and surrounding wood sculptures. The shower has a partially exposed roof which is nice to look up to in morning showers. The bathroom and bedroom is very spacious and the price was amazing

“Peaceful getaway”

The room is clean and generously sized, and the bathroom is the biggest I've stayed in at Sri Lanka (cold shower only). We had a gecko and frog for company in the bathroom 😊. The host showed us his amazing wood crafting skills around the property. When I was unwell the host gave me painkillers to get better, lent us a knife to cut up fresh fruit, and made us a tea + dessert upon entry. We were so happy with this place, and the location is quiet and a quick drive to Dambulla or Sigiriya

It is right out in the jungle. So it is best if you have your own transport as you wont be walking from town. The room has sockets , a decent bed and a bug net over the bed , each room has a little terrace area with its own seating and light. Breakfast was the best sized portion I've had here so far - and tasted great too! The hosts are very friendly and happy to help with anything you may need .

The sounds of the forest are amazing, and the family is very friendly and kind!

The property was very basic but was exceptional for the price. The owner of the lodge and his wife were incredible and her cooking was amazing. We were able to do everything we wanted to do in just a one night stay because they arranged all of our travel. All of the tourist attractions are within easy reach from the lodge and they organised an incredible elephant safari for us at Kaudulla national park.

The room is very spacious and clean, with a nice porch. It is surrounded by green. It is amazing if you are in need of a break from the world. Very very good value for money.

We really liked the attention to detail and decor of the entire facility. You can see that the owners try to provide their guests with all the amenities. The hosts were very nice and helpful (the best tea in Sri Lanka!). Our kids loved playing in the yard. The place is very well connected to nearby attractions.

The host and his family are super friendly and helpful, there is hot water. During mango season they offered me a welcome mango juice :)

Extremely recommended! The family who run the Lodge is warm and kind. You feel like home. Clean, beautiful and very quiet. Breakfast is tasty. One of the best places in Sri Lanka to stay.
